Run it like a business, he said. He never said that it'd be *his* business...

Thing is, his businesses fail as well.

Bankrupting FOUR casinos! That’s something special.

How f****** stupid do you have to be to bankrupt a c*****?

Not even stupid bankrupts a c*****. Look at Wynn. C***** bankruptcy stems only from egregious, callous corruption

People really don't understand how volatile and unstable the private sector is. I have no idea why you want the government to be ran like a business. Good governments last hundreds of years at least. The average business goes under in like 5-10 years. Is that what you want? Your country risking bankruptcy and collapse within a decade? Constantly? Forever? When I hear "He'll run the country like his business" I don't hear a promise of "He's going to make us lots of money" I hear a threat that he's going to loot the country, fire everyone, raise the numbers for maybe a quarter, then run to a golden parachute once the gig is up and its all falling apart like CEO's have done my entire life.

These people need to ask themselves this.... Does THEIR OWN bosses and CEOs of the businesses in which they work give TWO shits about them?.. Why should a C*** In Charge be expected to do any differently?

They’ve been brainwashed by decades of American propaganda. They honestly believe the business men want to help them more than people in government. They don’t understand the most fundamental aspect of business: it’s only designed to make money. Which is 100% fine because that’s the point of businesses. But the point of government is not to make money. So why would someone that is good at making money, be good at managing government?? They are not even close to the same skill set. But the propaganda machine in America is very strong.

Let’s just forget that the entire financial system businesses rely on is dependent on the government. Let’s ignore the colossal size and scope that is the US military budget being larger than many of the largest companies market value. Forget about the government being more than capable of running inflation to the moon and back. Let’s treat the government like we would a business, regardless of them having no where near the same buying power and revenue. It’s batshit insane people would look at that argument as one that’s intelligent while ignoring how obvious the government is the bigger fish.

I don't often hear people counter the "run government like a business" concept with pointing out a lotta businesses are run like shit and/or are most profitable for the select few at the top.

The US military is the largest socialist experiment in the history of the world. And yet most that support that, are against socialism.

Stop the count!

The Dow could go back to 50,000 if Mike Pence has the courage to do the right thing.

If you stop the count it will never change as if it never got lower. Just like during Covid. Soo much winning over here. 🤦🏽‍♂️

If the SEC loosens it's regulations, we could drop the need for quarterly reporting, and hit the financial equivalent of "if we don't test, then we don't have any csses"

If for nothing else screaming out about the dow will go down in history frankly as one of the top 10 dumbest statements in politics. I wish I lived in boring times.

Well he made a statement 11 minutes after the market closed so I’m assuming Barron got the trades in at the close.
