Everything about this feels like its supposed to be from the 2000s. Like a movie that was a hit on cable among kids and we all remember some strange scene or line from it all these years later.

nedlum Mar 24, 2026 +348
It's based on a book from 2006, so that somewhat tracks.
348
delus10n Mar 24, 2026 +130
I want to know why they didn't call it 'Three Bags Full' rather than something so glaringly bland
130
SciFiXhi Mar 24, 2026 +53
Probably to appeal to a broader audience that includes people from cultures that don't sing Baa Baa Black Sheep as a nursery rhyme.
53
Saw_Boss Mar 24, 2026 +19
They've called films other things in different markets before
19
Stormfly Mar 25, 2026 +7
But I think it works a little better to have the same title across cultures/languages. I've had a lot of confusion with my students because I teach children in Korea and here, the film *Despicable Me* is called "Superbad" (슈퍼배드). So it was funny when a 10 year old said his favourite film was *Superbad* and I was thinking the McLovin film... As another example, localising Pokémon is great for making puns and other fun wordplays but it means that I can't talk about Pokémon with my students because they all have different names. Pikachu and a few others are fine but there are some confusing ones. My favourite is the Pokémon "Long stone" (롱스톤)... which you can probably guess...

FX114 Mar 24, 2026 +25
Because they opted for clarity rather than being clever. The movie is already kind of a hard enough sell as it is.
25
_Voice_Of_Silence_ Mar 24, 2026 +12
Oh, this is based on Glenkill!? Nice. I liked that book. Not so sure how this will work as a movie though, since it's mostly sheeps talking and having inner monologues.

pittfan1942 Mar 24, 2026 +3
Thank you! I thought I’d lost my mind going “this plot seems familiar”
3
roland0fgilead Mar 24, 2026 +612
This would absolutely be right at home in the theater alongside Dr. Doolittle, Baby Geniuses, and Chicken Run
612
Inhocooks Mar 24, 2026 +134
I was thinking that we havent gotten a new Babe, Pig in the City movie in a while
134
roland0fgilead Mar 24, 2026 +49
Nobody can say George Miller doesn't have range.
49
fusionman51 Mar 24, 2026 +22
Exactly. What director can flip genres that drastically between movies. “Hey I made one of the greatest action films of all time. Let’s make a movie with a talking pig.” And then years later go “I just made an adorable sequel to a movie about animated penguins. Let’s make another greatest action movie of all time.”
22
tiktoktic Mar 24, 2026 +8
He also made the first Happy Feet, not just the sequel.
8
dragoncockles Mar 24, 2026 +3
3000 years of longing is super underappreciated too
3
Halfwise2 Mar 24, 2026 +18
I watched the original Babe so many times. I even did the mice / farmer's song for a school talent show. "If I had words to make a day for you, I'd sing you a morning golden and true."
18
Big-Beta20 Mar 24, 2026 +210
I won’t accept Chicken Run slander
210
roland0fgilead Mar 24, 2026 +81
Wasn't meant as slander. The only bad movie I mentioned is Baby Geniuses. I was just running with a theme.
81
d_bb_d Mar 24, 2026 +110
I will accept Baby Geniuses slander.
110
child_ofparadise Mar 24, 2026 +30
i loved that movie as a kid so much. but I have zero faith it would hold up for a rewatch so i’ll keep it in its shiny memory bubble.
30
Arterdras Mar 24, 2026 +17
I had the exact same thought. "Hey, that movie was pretty good.....maybe I shouldn't rewatch it."
17
JavaJapes Mar 24, 2026 +7
Your instincts are pretty correct. Keep it in your nostalgia.
7
sillyadam94 Mar 24, 2026 +3
I won’t. It may be Look Who’s Talking’s ugly stepsister, but by god is it a good time!
3
buickgnx88 Mar 24, 2026 +40
I also won’t accept Dr Dolittle (the first Eddie Murphy one) slander!
40
WickedCoolMasshole Mar 24, 2026 +5
This is like a side quest from Babe.
5
spelan1 Mar 24, 2026 +76
Know what the craziest thing about it is? It's written by Craig Mazin, who wrote Chernobyl and The Last of Us
76
matito29 Mar 24, 2026 +51
And in the 2000s, he was known for RocketMan (the Harland Williams space comedy, not the Elton biopic), Scary Movie 3 & 4, and Superhero Movie, so this feels like it would have fit in more with his early work.
51
IamMrT Mar 24, 2026 +2
RocketMan is a goddamned classic
2
Wabbajack001 Mar 24, 2026 +14
George miller did babe, happy feet and mad max
14
bakedpatata Mar 24, 2026 +3
Who approved letting him do comedy again? He should be forced to only do gritty dramas.
3
airz23s_coffee Mar 24, 2026 +47
100% got the "movie that becomes a core memory because it's one of the only tapes your family's got" vibes Our family's was Oliver & Company
47
douggieball1312 Mar 24, 2026 +87
It's like 'what if we took the talking kangaroo scene millennials remember from Kangaroo Jack, swapped him out for a flock of detective sheep and made a full movie out of it now those millennials have their own kids'.
87
mikeyfreshh Mar 24, 2026 +73
More like "what if Babe featured a grizzly murder"
73
QueefBeefCletus Mar 24, 2026 +60
Grisly. A Grizzly murder is just nature.
60
mikeyfreshh Mar 24, 2026 +23
I haven't seen the movie yet (obviously) but I think it's entirely possible that the murderer is a bear

You mean the duck?
3
phantom-firion Mar 24, 2026 +10
Ok 20 plus years later and I still won’t forgive that movie’s marketing making me think it was about a rapping kangaroo
10
overfiend1976 Mar 24, 2026 +17
The trailer made me feel like "What if the Knives Out cast were animals?"
17
FrameworkisDigimon Mar 24, 2026 +2
I haven't seen the trailer. I have never heard of the book. I had never heard of this film before I saw this poster And that is exactly what it made me think of. Besides there is already a noughties sheep movie. It's called Black Sheep.
2
Ekillaa22 Mar 24, 2026 +6
Don’t bring up that lie of a movie

as an adult who loved these movies as a kid in the 2000s, i think that’s why I’m drawn to this. feels very nostalgic

In another universe we are talking about the memories this movie holds

I'm begging them to do a cut of the film where the sheep don't talk, it would be amazing

Reminds me of a joke I heard Gilbert Gottfried tell once > A traveling salesman goes to a farmhouse looking for a place to stay for the night; the farmer goes “I can put you up for one night but you’d have to stay in the barn”. So he spends the night there, the next morning the farmer comes in and he goes “You comfortable?” salesman says “I had a great time, I talked to all the animals”. Farmer goes “You talked to the animals?” “Yeah I spoke to the chickens, they say you collect the eggs every morning five minutes after six.” Farmer replies “that’s exactly right”. Saleman continues, “The horse says he’s Otis, you’ve owned him for 10 years”. Farmer goes “that’s incredible”. “I spoke to the cow. The cow says her name is Elsie and you milk every morning at exactly 8:30” and the farmer goes “That’s incredible!”. Then the salesman says “And then I spoke to the sheep” and the farmer goes “Those sheep are lying!”
281
trro16p Mar 24, 2026 +55
I read that in his voice. #😆 There is only one correction if you hear it in his voice. >A traveling salesman goes to a farmhouse looking for a place to stay for the night; the farmer goes “I can put you up for one night but you’d have to stay in the barn”. Then the salesman says “And then I spoke to the sheep” and the farmer goes... >#***“Those sheep are lying!”***

A bloke is driving along a road one day when he passes a house with a sign out front that says "talking dog for sale, $50" Out of pure curiosity he pulls into the driveway and knocks on the door and the home-owner brings out a dog. "So, you can talk?" "That's right!" says the dog "Wow, that's incredible, where did you learn that?" "Well when I was a pup I was adopted by NASA, they trained me to speak so they could send me on secret space flights they didn't trust anyone else with. I was trained to read too so I was able to tell them critical information from the system readouts." "That sounds amazing!" "Yeah then after that I did a spell with the CIA, I'd sit in on secret briefings, they could scan me for as much recording equipment as they liked, I remembered every word." "It sounds like you've had quite a life!" "Indeed, after that I mostly did consultancy work for the FBI, a few foreign governments, just lending my expertise where I could." "Wow," says the man before turning to the owner, "and you're giving him away for just fifty dollars!?" "Of course i am!" replied the owner, "he's a chronic bullshitter, he's never left this property!"

That’s a different ending too - Hugh winds up in an asylum screaming “the sheep did it!”
375
RuafaolGaiscioch Mar 24, 2026 +89
Pretty sure Hugh’s the vic.
89
Scruffy442 Mar 24, 2026 +35
Should have cast Sean Bean for that role.

oh man, it would have serious "Garfield without Garfield" vibes. a second audio track without any sheep voices can't be *that* hard to do ;)

Garfield without Garfield is so good

PeaceBull Mar 24, 2026 +12
Reminds me of the time I watched Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but somehow managed to turn off closed captions for the Apes talking to each other. I watched for over an hour thinking the director really respected the audience/CGI artists to be able to understand/communicate what was being said purely through non-verbals...

Flashbacks of the Star Wars Christmas Special
9
Bananasaur_ Mar 24, 2026 +3
Flashback to watching the second planet of the apes movie and thinking about how half of the movie would just be apes grunting and doing sign language at each other if they didn’t have subtitles.
3
Various_Scar_4072 Mar 24, 2026 +4
Idk I think it’d be pretty baaaaaaaaad
4
BilverBurfer Mar 24, 2026 +2
That doesn't seem like it would be interesting in any way
2
PowderPills Mar 24, 2026 +688
Not at all what I expected to see Hugh Jackman starring in.
688
toothy_vagina_grin Mar 24, 2026 +434
Is he even starring? Seems like the bulk of the movie is after he dies.
434
warzone_afro Mar 24, 2026 +187
probably a lot of flashbacks
187
eekamuse Mar 24, 2026 +17
Doesn't look like it from the trailer. Which was pretty funny
17
Big-Discipline2039 Mar 24, 2026 +145
I am calling it now, there will be a twist where he was never murdered and he was hiding in plane sight, disguised as one of the sheep, to root out the bad guys.
145
heylilsharty Mar 24, 2026 +76
But where would they hide an entire plane?
76
gleeble Mar 24, 2026 +41
No, he's hiding in plane SIGHT. He can only be seen when you are looking down from a plane.

After seeing the dude dancing for some billionaire's kid's birthday party, i wont be too surprised by any role he agrees to.
221
BaritBrit Mar 24, 2026 +95
That divorce he had last year must have been *really* expensive.
95
cozmckitty Mar 24, 2026 +108
He’s buddies with Jared and Ivanka he may just actually be friends with the Murdochs as well.
108
Dry-Kitchen245 Mar 24, 2026 +75
He's the godfather to Murdoch's child right?
75
cozmckitty Mar 24, 2026 +33
Yep to his youngest daughters.
33
ILookLikeKristoff Mar 24, 2026 +46
He is famously friends with the Murdochs
46
bongsmokerzrs Mar 24, 2026 +60
No may about it, he's really good friends of the Murdochs. Not even a secret here in Australia.
60
-FeistyRabbitSauce- Mar 24, 2026 +16
Not a kid's birthday. And not just some billionaire. It was his close friend Rupert Murdoch's birthday. Hugh is the godfather to two of Murdoch's daughters.
16
aylaa157 Mar 24, 2026 +27
Apparently Jackman is in a crazy cult. I always thought he was a little "off" with his mannequin like smiles.
27
Data_Chandler Mar 24, 2026 +7
That really bummed me out.
7
Initial_E Mar 24, 2026 +50
This guy attached a set of testicles to his throat.
50
-JasmineDragon- Mar 24, 2026 +23
Does it most weekends, from what I hear.
23
PeachTrees632 Mar 24, 2026 +13
Really? The guy with the range of Wolverine and the greatest showman? This is ideal Jackman casting.
13
LookAtMeNow247 Mar 24, 2026 +24
I feel like people have the wrong impression of Hugh Jackman. Dude is a theatre nerd who played wolverine.
24
Snoo_censorspeech Mar 24, 2026 +4
First thing I ever saw him in was a pro shot of Oklahoma! The musical.
4
DimensionMediocre439 Mar 24, 2026 +13
He does these from time to time. Remember the movie about Eddie the Eagle?
13
King_of_Shitland Mar 24, 2026 +13
No. What was it called?
13
dont_worry_im_here Mar 24, 2026 +13
Peter the Parrot
13
PantsyFants Mar 24, 2026 +18
Seems pretty on par for a guy who made Flushed Away, Greatest Showman, Happy Feet, Real Steel, Missing Link, and Rise of the Guardians
18
ILikeMyGrassBlue Mar 24, 2026 +12
I’m surprised he wasn’t in melania
12
woohooguy Mar 24, 2026 +27
Seems every so often actors just cant resist the number of zeros on a check. Plus it's easy work compared to what he has to do to play Wolverine.
27
Saltire_Blue Mar 24, 2026 +24
Actors are essentially self employed. Jobs a job after all
24
Snoo_censorspeech Mar 24, 2026 +7
More than self employed, they are  more like the sole proprietor of a brand (themselves) which then pays a manager and other employees who take care of this and other aspects like pr and daily life needs.
7
ILookLikeKristoff Mar 24, 2026 +14
I mean there's nothing wrong with doing a hokey kids movie. It won't be "great cinema" but at the end of the day all cinema is just entertainment.
14
nondescriptun Mar 24, 2026 +3
The cast is pretty stacked. Or at least the voice-only cast is.
3
swankpoppy Mar 24, 2026 +3
“But you f*** one sheep!”
3
CassiopeiaStillLife Mar 24, 2026 +386
This is the kind of movie where even if it’s not good it still feels right that it’s around. We should be getting three or four middling talking-animal movies a year
386
MeAndBettyWhite Mar 24, 2026 +45
Saw the trailer at Project Hail Mary and it honestly looks really good. Normally movies like this aren't my cup of tea. In the trailer they called it "a herder mystery" and I dunno why but that seriously cracked me up lol.
45
Undeniably_Awesome Mar 25, 2026 +9
Yeah, I thought the same. It looks genuinely fun and silly. I don’t think I’d ever go to the theaters for it, but I’m interested in watching it at home. And I can see it being a great family movie for theaters.
9
WowIfOnly Mar 24, 2026 +22
Yeah it's one of those kids movies that doesn't surprise me to see released. The question just becomes will it actually be a clever and funny movie with jokes that appeal to both kids and (not moronic) adults? Or will it be one of those movies that only has fart jokes and the weakest slapstick "comedy" imaginable to appeal to a handful of 7 year old boys?
22
CassiopeiaStillLife Mar 24, 2026 +21
Well, it's based on a book that's a pretty standard cozy mystery, except for the fact that the detectives are sheep. I don't think it's going to be explicitly pandering to kids, but it probably won't have much to scare them off.
21
WhiskyWillFixIt Mar 24, 2026 +3
The trailer didnt make it seem like a children's movie.
3
Front_Reindeer_7554 Mar 24, 2026 +170
It's based on a German book called Three Bags Full. It's been on my reading list and got bumped up bc I saw the preview last week and had no idea a movie adaptation was coming out.
170
PositiveShade Mar 24, 2026 +11
It's one of my favorite books ever. It's unique and warm and interesting and sweet and even a little heartbreaking, but not really in a bad way. I absolutely love the sheep. I will never, ever see this movie. The book is just special.
11
lilithweatherwax Mar 24, 2026 +6
All right you've convinced me
6
rainydog221 Mar 24, 2026 +26

463
Dead_Halloween Mar 24, 2026 +277
It looks fun, like Knives Out meets Babe.

spacecaps85 Mar 24, 2026 +27
I saw it before Hail Mary and it looks cute. I think the best thing it has going for it (besides the cast) is that it's earnest.
27
eekamuse Mar 24, 2026 +3
me too. I laughed 3 times during the trailer. not bad
3
DandySlayer13 Mar 25, 2026 +2
That’s EXACTLY what I thought! lol
2
Colonel_MuffDog Mar 24, 2026 +135
I was shocked by how interested I was in this trailer. Saw it before my project Hail Mary screening and turned to my friend and said "can... can we go see this?" lol
135
thereelsuperman Mar 24, 2026 +17
I said the same thing to my wife!
17
le_fromage_puant Mar 24, 2026 +2
I just went and looked at the trailer and was ‘yessssss I’m in’
2
captincook Mar 24, 2026 +18
I saw it before project Hail Mary. As a huge Babe-head I was into it.
18
EricHD97 Mar 24, 2026 +33
Genuinely the trailer actually made me want to go see the movie, which doesn’t happen all that often for me. It screamed mid 2000s talking animal movie in all the best ways.
33
KoalaBoy Mar 24, 2026 +9
There was a special time where talking animal movies were good, Homeward Bound, Babe, Stuart Little. Then we got flooded with the Buddies movies and it ruined it.
9
Huggable_Hork-Bajir Mar 24, 2026 +10
It was a fun book. Hopefully they don't screw up the movie.
10
KNZFive Mar 24, 2026 +7
I saw it before I watched Hoppers this weekend, and once the sheep started talking, I expected it to be terrible. But it won me over. You can have silly movies that are mostly kid-friendly. It was *definitely* better than the horrendous Animal Farm trailer that I also saw.
7
Responsible-Exit-379 Mar 24, 2026 +3
God that animal farm trailer is horrendous. Took all the, you know, communist commentary from the book and turned it into an… action fart joke kids movie? I was mildly disturbed reading it as a highschooler I’m not sure that it’s the best concept to market to kids but what do I know.
3
aDildoAteMyBaby Mar 24, 2026 +3
The trailer was a hoot. I'm all for telling common stories from new perspectives, like Good Boy and In a Violent Nature. So this is right up my alley.
3
_Jahar_ Mar 24, 2026 +2
Same — I’m gonna see it. I need something a little weird and light these days.
2
flysly Mar 24, 2026 +2
My wife and I also thought it looked entertaining. We’re into mysteries so this looked like a fun family movie for us.
2
-nymerias- Mar 24, 2026 +2
I really enjoyed the book it's based, personally. It has a lot more depth than might be expected. Depending on how closely (and well) they adapt it, it could definitely make for a quality film.
2
MeaningPandora2 Mar 24, 2026 +113
Saw the trailer for this last Thursday, it seems fun, if they can find the right tone for it it’ll probably be really good. The trailer is definitely a little shocking, it would be interesting if I could have gone into this blind, I wonder how long into the movie the murder actually happens.
113
GeekAesthete Mar 24, 2026 +38
It’s gotta be in the first act, since it’s the set-up for the plot. So likely about 20 minutes in.
38
Xeno_phile Mar 24, 2026 +19
It’s pretty much the first page of the book.
19
xavPa-64 Mar 24, 2026 +38
Craig Mazin?! wtf is this?!
38
nedlum Mar 24, 2026 +24
He also wrote a bunch of Zucker spoof movies (*Superhero Movie*, two *Scary Movies*) as well as two *Hangover* sequels. Sometimes you want to be silly, as a treat.
24
xavPa-64 Mar 24, 2026 +7
I swear the super hard-hitting serious ones would always just rather be silly if they had the choice lol
7
JustGoodSense Mar 24, 2026 +5
Comedy is harder than drama, but drama gets the trophies.
5
asdf0909 Mar 24, 2026 +5
sounds like more of his career was being silly, and then he did horrific and bleak as a treat
5
Quarantini Mar 24, 2026 +17
It's like a pastoral Knives Out
17
nedlum Mar 24, 2026 +15
Man, memory is a weird thing. I saw this, poster, and immediately thought, "What book was this?" *Three Bags Full*, a book that sold okay-ish back at the indie bookstore I worked at back in 2006-2007.
15
TsundereLoliDragon Mar 24, 2026 +2
Yeah, like a minute in I was like I swear this was a book I once read. Then I saw the title and was like well I guess not?
2
benpicko Mar 24, 2026 +18
Nobody in here mentioning that CRAIG MAZIN (Chernobyl, The Last of Us) is writing this?

JustGoodSense Mar 24, 2026 +6
He actually wrote it 10 years ago.

dspman11 Mar 25, 2026 +2
Well he's also CRAIG MAZIN (Scary Movie 3, Scary Movie 4)

kain459 Mar 24, 2026 +8
I cant wait. Movie looks hilarious.

McCoy818 Mar 24, 2026 +6
this looks like something that would air on cartoon network at 2am and somehow become a cult classic
6
gaaarsh Mar 24, 2026 +12
The book it's based on (the much better titled Three Bags Full) was a lot of fun.
12
mrmonster459 Mar 24, 2026 +14
I have to say, this movie honestly looks genuinely fun. I gotta admire a movie that takes a wacky premise like this and just...has a ball with it.

BalrogSlayer00 Mar 24, 2026 +38
Seems like they might have enough other huge names to cancel out Hugh Jackman
38
a_lumberjack Mar 24, 2026 +22
The description sounds like he's going to get murdered in the first act.
22
Sjgolf891 Mar 24, 2026 +7
The trailer as well

BedditTedditReddit Mar 24, 2026 +6
It’s weird to see many big names other than him are all on the second line, what’s up with that? They’re the sheep?
6
Jaspador Mar 24, 2026 +8
None of the names I recognize match the people on the poster, so they're probably the sheep indeed.
8
asphaltdragon Mar 24, 2026 +4
Yeah, it's weird I don't recognize anyone on the top except for Hugh and Emma, but I recognize almost the entire second line. That's not usually how they do billing.

Eroom2013 Mar 24, 2026 +6
I saw the trailer before PHM, and I have no idea who this movie is for. Nothing I saw said adult humour, yet, it didn't seem to be aimed at children either.
6
SlytlySykotic Mar 24, 2026 +5
Why does this feel like a cover for a Peacock movie
5
theonlymexicanman Mar 24, 2026 +5
How the hell is this movie so stacked? Like Patrick Stewart is one of the smaller listed names There are only two options A) This is either a an easy pay-job for the stacked list of actors and Craig Maizin B) The screenplay is genuinely good that multiple big actors were waiting in line to sign for the project

Otto_von_Grotto Mar 24, 2026 +10
I once read a very entertaining book similar to this but I can't recall what it was. It was possibly *Three Bags Full,* which is the basis for this movie. Either way, it seems like it could be a load of fun )

Meph616 Mar 24, 2026 +19
Hugh Jackman entertaining a bunch of sheep? Must be his School of Economic Science followers.
19
Krautmonster Mar 24, 2026 +10
We saw that film, it was him performing at Murdoch's birthday.

Jackbo_Manhorse Mar 24, 2026 +5
The book this is based off of is honestly one amazing so I’m excited to give this a watch.
5
StatikSquid Mar 24, 2026 +4
This is the type of movie my mom would take 11yo me to in the 2000s because the animals look 'cute'.

_Kaifaz Mar 24, 2026 +3
Love me some Brett Goldstein. Ted Lasso and Shrinking were amazing!

anthonyg1500 Mar 24, 2026 +11
I heard the premise and thought it sounded dumb but the trailer seemed kinda delightful

asdf0909 Mar 24, 2026 +12
Sorry WHAT? Craig Mazin…of Chernobyl and Last of Us? Hell of a range on that guy
12
workingtrot Mar 24, 2026 +9
Like the guy who wrote Babe also wrote Fury Road

PlaysWthSquirrels Mar 24, 2026 +3
I'm more excited for this movie than I have been for any other movie this year, and I don't know why.

iloovehugecock Mar 24, 2026 +8
Hugh Jackman can get in the bin. The Rupert Murdoch loving fascist bell end.
8
Negafox Mar 24, 2026 +5
Patrick Stewart is in this, too. This is secretly a MCU tie-in film

_The sheep detectives will return in Avengers Doomsday_
8
Goblingrenadeuser Mar 24, 2026 +8
So nobody here mentioned that it is based on a bestseller book?
8
lambopanda Mar 24, 2026 +2
I hope the sheep and Pikachu team up for the sequel.
2
locklear24 Mar 24, 2026 +2
It’s got corny Babe energy, but as newly “trying to get into farming” including some sheep, my partner and I are eyeing it for a fun date night.
2
kitten1985 Mar 24, 2026 +2
Just seen the trailer. Looks like complete nonsense but brilliant.
2
boberro Mar 24, 2026 +2
The novels were great, at least the first two, not sure if there was any more. This poster tho? Hard pass

Despair_Tire Mar 24, 2026 +2
Mother's Day weekend. We've got smiling blue sweater version of Hugh and cute sheep and a murder. We know who this movie targets.

Always excited to see Regina Hall in something she’s just too good

rainydog221 Mar 24, 2026 +2
I was in summer vacation last year and took my grandma to Barnes and noble. Bought this book solely cause I love any book about non detectives being detectives. Sheep were an interesting one. The tone of this movie is much more family friendly early 2000s blockbuster then I read it. But the book is really fun so I’m excited.
2
Redneckshinobi Mar 24, 2026 +2
This movie actually looks fun though I want to see it
2
Alchia79 Mar 24, 2026 +2
We took our ten year old to see Project Hail Mary over the weekend and she saw this trailer and immediately said we had to go see it. Looked entertaining enough for me to not fall asleep! It’s hard getting through kids movies when you’re middle aged 🤣
2
Euklidis Mar 24, 2026 +2
Trailer made it look like some good fun. Cant wait to see it.
2
ReedM4 Mar 25, 2026 +2
Huh...after seeing the trailer today it's odd they put Hughe Jackman front and center.
2
smokeydesperado Mar 25, 2026 +2
I just saw the trailer in the theaters, it looked really funny.
2
ODYY_TOASTED Mar 25, 2026 +2
FROM THE WRITER OF “THE LAST OF US” and “Chernobyl” HOW IS THIS NOT METIONED?!? Clearly this is the spiritual sequel to Last of Us!

adnaPadnamA Mar 25, 2026 +2
This looks like a fun time at the movies. I am looking forward to it 😊

>A whodunnit for the whole flock. [#TheSheepDetectives](https://youtu.be/826SRt1CFbg?is=u7IpOxrjlPLp2twq) is only in theaters May 8. >In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.

This movie is gonna be a *classic* in 20 years. Genuinely excited for this.
3
Mr-Nanny Mar 24, 2026 +3
This has got to be some kind of money laundering front, right?
3
Donner_Par_Tea_House Mar 24, 2026 +3
That is quite the cast for...a film about sheep?
3
WILDHOGS_MC Mar 24, 2026 +4
Hugh ‘MAGA’ Jackman? Greeeaaat.
4
BJs_Minis Mar 24, 2026 +3
I don't wanna watch ANYTHING with Hugh Jackman if I'm being honest.
3
Remarkable-Pea4889 Mar 24, 2026 +3
This poster looks so c****, hopefully they spent most of their money on the movie instead.
