Such a f****** banger. Jealous of those who got to see that live.

Gary’s song transcended across the metal genres, I remember hearing Fear Factory’s cover of it and loving how it sounded (and Numan even returned and re-recorded some vocals with them on it)
This was another great version of it and jealous of those who were in the audience for it!
my brain does not like that this video is 16 years old

The Pleasure Principle is such a great album. So many groundbreaking electronic tracks on there in addition to Cars

My wife and I always joke about how hard Trent is going with that tambourine.

Went to see NiN last August. It's the only concert in my 40 years of concert going where the crowd stood the entire f****** show. Trent still has it in spades, and his band is absolutely killer. There was no encore, but I didn't feel cheated at all. He gives you 20 killer songs or so and no matter what you paid you'll feel like you've gotten your money's worth

I've seen him 5 times now, including his latest tour. IMO, his music sounds much better live than the album versions. Shout out to his "I'm Afraid of Americans" cover on latest tour. This was at least the second tour he included that cover in his set list. Very apropos for the times we live in.

I was there! This was in July 2009, I think, at the O2 Arena in London. They performed Nine Inch Nails version of Metal with Gary Numan as well.

This actually my favorite NIN song. Goosebumps from just hearing the first bars.
