“No Kings”: March 28 Rallies Could Be Biggest Day of Protest in U.S. History
Millions of people are expected to take to the streets this Saturday in opposition to the Trump administration in the third iteration of the nationwide No Kings protest movement. Ahead of the thousands of No Kings demonstrations scheduled not only across the country, but also around the world, we speak to one of the organizers behind the campaign, Leah Greenberg of Indivisible. “People are coming out in every state, in every county, collectively, and saying, 'Enough.' We are going to stand against illegal war abroad. We are going to stand against secret police at home,” Greenberg says.

We all should participate en masse. We should try to bring our friends with us.

A good way to bring friends that might be hesitant: host a sign-making party beforehand, then carpool to the event.

Don't forget pie and punch.
4
llyffant_noir Mar 27, 2026 +1
I was told there'd be pie and punch.

jemappellejimbo Mar 27, 2026 +5
Yea make funny signs, get some photos for clout, enjoy a nice walk in the park, and then continue to live unbothered lives and go back to consumerism
5
hikeonpast Mar 27, 2026 +1
Some will do exactly that. Others will stay motivated to help un-f*** things. There’s only one way to find out.

I'm bringing one new person! Was going to bring a second newbie but she got really sick and is stuck in bed.

Don't bring your phone and conceal your face. Unless if you want to end up as data for Palantir

And are YOU doing that?

Beantown-Jack Mar 27, 2026 +16
I will certainly be there.  I hope you will too!
16
g2g079 Mar 27, 2026 +12
I imagine it will be. There's more pissed off people now and the weather is nicer. The only thing that may slow it down is people having other plans for Easter and spring break.
12
razz-boy Mar 27, 2026 +13
I’ll be attending for the first time! No more normalizing this insanity!
13
WerewolfCurious1412 Mar 28, 2026 +1
I’ve been to two, he’s still in power and he does not care.
1
razz-boy Mar 28, 2026 +1
That doesn’t matter, complaining about him from behind a keyboard at home doesn’t do any good either but here we are.
1
Shpion007 Mar 27, 2026 +30
what we really need is like a nation wide strike of 3% of the population for like a month.
30
DaGreatJl612 Mar 27, 2026 +8
Part of the plan for this Saturday is promoting a nationwide general strike for May 1st.

genericusername11101 Mar 27, 2026 +11
Naw man, another protest should totally do it this time.
11
GriffinFlash Mar 27, 2026 +10
Incoming poop Ai videos I guess.
10
Leather_Egg2096 Mar 27, 2026 +4
We will also be sending strongly worded emails and will be slowly shaking our heads... The rich will have no choice but to surrender.
4
BloodRedRook Mar 27, 2026 +14
No individual process or action is going to turn the country around in one go. It is a long term campaign, of which protests are one part.
14
Leather_Egg2096 Mar 27, 2026 -3
So like 10 more? 20? How many times will it take before you figure out this is an acceptable lose for the rich? You burn resources change nothing and give the other side headlines and fuel.
-3
bensquirrel Mar 27, 2026 +5
these doomer takes are boring at this point
5
genericusername11101 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Doing the same shit over and over and expecting different results….I think theres a word for that.

She explains why it’s important here. List your rebuttal to her points if you’d like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=hojPb48-GRQ

_slagwire Mar 27, 2026 +2
Don't bother looking for an actual position from them. People who comment snarkily about the futility of people actually getting out of their houses to protest have no actual point. They're just unable to climax without the smell of their own smug farts.
2
AnonAmbientLight Mar 27, 2026
Probably true. Possibly they’re a bot.  It’s why I linked the video. If they’re serious they’ll respond to the video.  If they don’t do that, it’s an easy “you fucked up try again” reply.

3.5% is the golden number.
1
IrrelevantLeprechaun Mar 27, 2026
Nobody can afford that when we live paycheck to paycheck. Are YOU gonna pay our bills while we strike?

AnonAmbientLight Mar 27, 2026 +10
Protests are extremely important. Heather explains why. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=hojPb48-GRQ

DaGreatJl612 Mar 27, 2026 +5
I just want to point out that part of the plan for the protest this Saturday is to promote a nationwide general strike on May 1st.

I’ve been to two of these and two things are evident, nothing changes and he does not care.
1
WerewolfCurious1412 Mar 28, 2026 +1
The election was stolen we do nothing Trump is a legit convicted 34x’s felon we do nothing He’s named in the Epstein files a million times we do nothing. Declare war without congressional approval, we do nothing. They control all three branches of government and we do nothing. I’ve been to two of these rallies before and he’s still here. I generally do not understand what they do. I vote blue every election. I give and I give and I give and we get nothing in return but lies, on top of lies on top of deceit.
1
Familiar-Complex-697 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Bring people! Protests make great date spots (I’m not kidding!) and friend/family activities! Pad out them numbers.
1
Familiar-Complex-697 Mar 28, 2026 +1
Remember, y’all, protests aren’t just standing around in the street, they’re for communicating within the crowd. Sharing ideas, plans, info, contacts. Like a get-together for people of the same cause.

This is a colossal waste of time. This energy should be directed at protesting the war in Iran.
1
misty-mornings Mar 27, 2026 +1
What's the point. Hes not going anywhere for two years. That might as well be a lifetime with all the damage he can do until then.
1
New-Anybody-6206 Mar 27, 2026
This is the first I've heard of it. How do they expect to get lots of people if many have no idea it exists?

shadowdra126 Mar 27, 2026 +17
Counterpoint I’ve known about this one for a while now and have seen plenty of notifications about it online
17
The100th_Idiot Mar 27, 2026 +10
I attended the first no kings protest over the summer, and since then, been connected to multiple networks that keep me informed of protests including this one. At certain point it is up to you to get yourself out there. No one is going to go to your front door and ask you to come join the protest, you have a responsibility to seek information out for yourself.
10
IrrelevantLeprechaun Mar 27, 2026 +4
The one last summer was actually the *second*. The first one happened several months before that one. This upcoming one is the third.
4
Unable_Technology935 Mar 28, 2026 +2
Well I agree nobody is coming to your door. However I found it unusually hard to find info on my local protest. Did I find it ,yes. Easily no. I'm going tomorrow and hoping to network with some people. I'm willing to work.
2
certciv Mar 27, 2026 +7
Take some personal responsibility. The No Kings protests have been widely reported on, and discussed on social media.
7
g2g079 Mar 27, 2026 +7
Have you seen their other protests? They seem to know how to get the message out. I've seen plenty of information on both Listnook and Facebook. Did you have a circle of friends who are still unaware, let them know.
7
llyffant_noir Mar 27, 2026 +4
You're not paying attention then. I've known about it since January.
4
New-Anybody-6206 Mar 27, 2026 -1
I suspect many millions of other potential protestors "aren't paying attention" then. You need to advertise it and get it in front of their faces where they can see it.
-1
IrrelevantLeprechaun Mar 27, 2026
Do it yourself then.
0
New-Anybody-6206 Mar 28, 2026 +2
this attitude is part of the problem
2
MySmellyRacoon Mar 27, 2026
That’s completely your own fault for not being aware. It was announced 2 months ago. It’s ok though, MAGA like you aren’t going anyways; you’re happy where the country is at.
0
FlirtPickle Mar 27, 2026 +2
Let’s hope the biggest protest doesn’t turn into the biggest ‘oops, we forgot our signs’ day get ready to yell, folks!
2
blazesquall Mar 27, 2026 +3
Clever signs is the whole point.. no one's going to forget.
3
BigHungryFlamingo Mar 27, 2026 +17
Signs are great but even just being there is important and effective.  It shows MAGA they are greatly outnumbered and helps fight against the hypernormalization they’re trying to push.
17
blazesquall Mar 27, 2026 +5
Are they greatly outnumbered numbered..? Not having any branch of government seems to say they aren't.
5
BigHungryFlamingo Mar 27, 2026 +5
Absolutely, we can safely say MAGA is outnumbered by millions and millions at this point. Many people who were MAGA no longer are.  And their control of the government is quickly slipping through their fingers.  Not to mention all of the state governments that are not MAGA or full-blown anti-MAGA.
5
BloodRedRook Mar 27, 2026 +5
That's because the US system of elections places more weight on large tracts of empty land than it does on people. The 600,000 people in Wyoming give the same number of senators as the 39 million in California.
5
GibbysUSSA Mar 27, 2026 +3
Citizens United didn't help much, either.
3
blazesquall Mar 27, 2026 +2
Does No Kings address that?
2
DependentUse9034 Mar 27, 2026 +5
Not directly. But millions and millions of people taking to the streets does signify to your political leaders what the populace wants. I would also argue that our anger has pushed the party further towards the Bernie Sanders wing, and left wingers have been winning by the dozens across the country, which has given them more power than they have had in a long time.
5
No_Hell_Below_Us Mar 27, 2026 +2
Let’s not sugarcoat the state of America. The electoral college didn’t cause a second Trump term and Republican control of all branches of government. Trump got 77M votes vs Harris’ 75M with 64% turnout. The American electorate looked fascism straight in the eye, and a third said yes, a third said no, and a third shrugged and stayed home.
2
Unable_Technology935 Mar 28, 2026 +3
Yep,sat on their asses for reasons only they know. It's shameful. Now we all pay the price. However the Democrats have done a piss poor job in their own right. Too many old geezers led by Chuck Schumer and none of these old bastards have any fight left. Throw in the likes of Fetterman and Synema and failure is assured. But there is hope, all of these special elections have been an absolute ass kicking for anyone with an R in front of their name.
3
andtheniwasallll Mar 27, 2026 +1
I wonder what the administration will do to take the headlines off this protest?

Irony is last election more than half the US electorate happily voted for this royalty+entourage. An extremely, these days, bipolar people. Still can’t vote a woman into power, lol.

Ananiujitha Mar 27, 2026 +4
49.8%.
4
Parada484 Mar 27, 2026 +1
Crazy thing is, in current election, more than half of the US electorate voted impeached trials. The large, these days, schizophrenia. Am I good bot too?

“Am I good not too?” - maybe bot material from 2-3 years ago.

First day of NO KINGS. In America was the last day of the Revolutionary War. Treaty was signed. Plus 3 other treaties. Was a bad day for the UK TREATY OF PARIS. September 3, 1783
