No Kings Protesters Take to Streets in Towns and Cities Across the U.S.

'no kings' has somehow become a partisan statement. that was literally the one thing the founders actually agreed on

What gets me is the Trump Administration openly admitting that they are NOT listening to the protests. They aren't paying attention, and they pride themselves on being the opposition. That is NOT what a great leader does. A great leader LISTENS to their constituents, and enacts policies that benefit the greater good. He is NOT a populist. He is an Authoritarian. A false king. CAST HIM OUT!

Protesters pointed to the war in Iran, as well as a protracted government funding standoff over immigration enforcement that has left airport security lines snarled and federal workers unpaid. Others decried proposed changes to voting laws, environmental rollbacks, and what they see as a steady erosion of democratic norms. In Washington, D.C., a stream of protesters marched from Arlington, Va., to the National Mall, beating drums and ringing cowbells as they chanted, “No justice, no peace. I went to my local rally got 25k steps in had fun great turnout.

I wanted to go... but sick as a dog... I am not going to infect others with the flu.

Reading comments from the right across the internet we can throw the concept of hyperbole on the pile of things they cannot process or understand.

Well, if the members of congress won’t do their job and apply some checks and balances to Trumps power, then he is no different than a king. No taxation without representation. And these motherfuckers haven’t been representing the American people in quite some time. So yeah. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The only protest that matters is the one in November. If every republic on the ballot isn’t voted out en masse, we will have failed as a nation. That party is f****** done. They’ve become too corrupt and too captured by big monied interests. It’s time to move on.

We must unite. They want us dumb, hungry , tired angry, scared and/or distracted so that we will put up little resistance when full autocracy is tried. WE MUST STOP THEM THIS MIDTERM ELECTION: November 2026. It is the last democratic chance out of this mess. Vote, donate, volunteer, door knock/canvass, phone bank, write postcards.
