The detainment centers are not meant to be a punishment for a crime. They are only meant to hold people in a humane manner. No reason DHS couldn’t use hotel-like facilities, other than mass cruelty.

No, detainment centers are supposed to be humane. People forget that and take it as a given that inhumane conditions are expected and unavoidable.

What do you suggest the Democrats do? Before trump, I was an independent, like you, I guess. But acting like both parties are bad is part of what is f'n this country up. No, not expecting more from your representatives and acting like airing your grievances and giving honest, constructive criticism is some sort of opposition research that somehow lets the Republicans win is what is f****** it up. Telling your quarterback to stop throwing interceptions and the runningback to keep both hands on the ball isn’t going to make the other team win.
