North Korea is distancing itself from anyone who has no money to buy their support.

If bribing the Kim regime is enough to make them f*** off and keep to themselves, then I say its a good use of taxes.

We've been doing it for years through USAID. It's pretty effective

We **were** doing it for years.

They’ll be treated like Cuba. F*** em till their leader finally dies, then slowly work on foreign relations.

A 13 year old female child is at the helm calling the shots. You’d think Kim Jong would do anything in his power to avoid sending her to “talk” with Donald the pedo.

The guy who murdered his uncle with dogs and runs a country with concentration camps suddenly cares about someone other than himself?

That's... a pleasant surprise. Now distance yourself from sending missiles and troops to Russia next.

Not a bad idea since none of Iran's "allies" did a thing to help them. For how strong China is, they won't lift a finger to help anyone else but themselves.

China is the worlds largest consumer of pork products. Vast array of chinese dishes contain pork.  The EU as a whole is a large exporter and consumer of pork products. With the US being the worlds largest single country exporter of pork.  I think China depends on us as much as we depend on them. It is advantageous for them to dedicate and use their land for manufacturing and mining industries while we use our land for productive agricultural and grazing farmland. A win win for global trade. But the USA has much more land area dedicated to farming. Both in growing feed for the livestock and food for ourselves. China has a large population that needs to have a secure food source. Actually the world is very dependent on being stable for us to continue to support so many people on this planet.

Dividend by politics, united by pork!

Instability is especially bad for China. "3 body problem" expressed this fear.

China doesn't have allies, China has customers

It's obvious North Korea, Pakistan and China aren't really helping Iran and don't see them as an important ally. At least not important enough to anger America. They have probably also learned from helping Russia for over 4 years that the roi just isn't very good regardless when the leadership sucks.

They see Russia losing and if the US manages to regime change Iran and Venezuela and Cuba north Korea would only have China

NK is about to break the glass ceiling with their own leadership change.

First female dictator with nukes!

No, they see Russia pivoting to take over the US policies, meaning that "rogue states" are becoming pointless if the great powers are not actually fighting each other.

When is the last time north korea tested an icbm? Seems like it’s been a while. Maybe the current leader mellowed out and became a chill dad

What’s funny is even Trump today when NK got mentioned even commented “you haven’t heard a peep from them in awhile” (paraphrasing)

If they didn’t have fascistic zealot assholes running the place, they’d be a normal country everyone would want to work with. Isn’t that amazing?

You need to stop huffing paint.

Become a normal country first, then think about trading with the U.S. How long are you going to be treated like some half-baked pseudo-state?

There’s no difference to the US since Trump.

Why would the American government be interested in talking to a despotic dictatorship?

Hexenzsiin Apr 6, 2026 +5
Is that rhetorical? I mean, we’ve seen the company that this administration is keeping and the boots being licked, right? 👅🥾

r_spandit Apr 6, 2026 +1
I should've added the /s. Trump will be a big fan of NK
