Don’t forget Trump also gave Medals of Honor to people who got injured kidnapping Maduro. Which feels like a North Korean thing to do.

He’s also talked about giving himself the Medal of Honor

ErikT738 13 hr ago +10
He should do it. Add all other medals he can award as well and start wearing them all the time.

Why doesnt he give himself a Nobel peace prize?

Sea_School8272 11 hr ago +5
Why a Nobel Peace Prize? Why not just award him a Trump Peace prize, the most bestest biggest peace price in the world, people keep saying. Who was this crooked sleepy loser Nobel guy anyway?

The US-born Pope seems pretty clear the U.S. is the bad guy here.

No fan of Trump, but comparing the Iranian regime to Ukraine is at best misguided.

commentman10 10 hr ago +1
Yeah. But so is north korea and a bunch of african countries and in asia. But we dont see the us giving a shit and invading them to "fix their problem" clearly iran was invaded not to clear out oppressive government but to take more oil away from china. Were just as bad. You are misguided.

"Bad guy" is highly subjective and a relative term. Everyone views themselves as the good guy.

Some of them died, but it's a sacrifice Kim is willing to make.

The fucked thing is that they still got treated better than the Russian troops themselves. The Norks actually got stuff like medical evac.

Remember when western commies on listnook and twitter will call you gullible if you believe NKoreans were fighting for Russia? Where are they now?

John_Mark_Corpuz_2 16 hr ago +13
>Where are they now? Either still in denial or are now saying those are "worthy sacrifices".

They're still here, just telling you that your high gas prices are temporary and worth it.

Western Commie here (Democratic Socialist), i have genuinely no idea why other commies would spread such Lies. Long live Ukraine (and NATO)!

Because many of your supposed compatriots (not sure if you want to claim them), are either campists (US/West bad, therefore whoever opposes US/West good) or are big fans of the USSR and mistakenly and rather bizarrely transfer those warm/fuzzy feelings onto modern Russia, despite the two being nothing alike.

I think you’re confusing the group with the vocal majority. It happens all the time on the Internet and that’s why you shouldn’t form opinions based on what you read here. Out in RL those people are a minority and no one listens to their shit. I say this as a very anti-communist person myself, so I have no personal interest in defending commies. But facts are facts, and Listnook is a shitplace full of people spewing random shit.

You're describing tankies. Nobody likes tankies. They're utterly miserable, on account of how their brain is wracked with cognitive dissonance. Real commies and socialists and all-around pinkos all say "Russia bad".
1
ImSoMysticall 9 hr ago +1
The very fact that socialists or pinkos even enter the conversation pretty much devalues it I don't think I've ever met an actual communist, and I doubt if I did they'd hold the idea that Russia is good, it is far far from communist values. And pinkos or socialists are not at all commies either

Does the museum have a statue in the front that's holding a grenade to their own head?
15
Snoutysensations 14 hr ago +8
Huh, how is North Korea selling this war to their people?  Are they claiming it's about fighting fascism or liberating their Russian communist allies?  NK has a weird ideology that's a mash-up of old school communism and Kim family god-worship; unclear how invading Ukraine fits into any of that.

The fun thing about a dictatorship is you don't have to sell anything to the people. You do what dear leader tells you, and you'll be happy about it.
13
SandysBurner 12 hr ago +3
Nevertheless, dictators do tend to say something about needing to fight for the glory of the fatherland or whatever.

OkArm8581 17 hr ago +10
They're milking it to the fullest. In the same way as USSR milked mass murder of Soviet Army by stupid leadership as righteous sacrifice for propaganda.

faultysynapse 13 hr ago +3
Imagine, dying for nothing. Tragic.

MikeSteamer 17 hr ago +6
I am sure all those soldiers and their families are feeling warm & fuzzy and properly thankful to die for KJU’s ambitions and ego

livingMybEstlyfe29 17 hr ago +4
Yeah but also some women there just wanted a paycheck (assuming they got the money) after these men died horribly on the battlefield

As far as history goes this is a museum of recent history.

I think about the NK POW who was 1 of 2 Soldiers who didn’t successfully  kill himself.   he was watching Korean movies every day, since he was recuperating, and whenever they asked what movies he wanted for tomorrow, he’d say “ love stories”.  Knowing that he has barely seen a single modern Korean movie, at least one that wasn’t heavily edited , that seemed really sad.
