So i just learned this a few months back, despite listening to NIN since junior high. NIN is just Trent Reznor. He's the whole band. Its wild. He hires musicians for tours but the albums are just him. He did add one guy, Atticus Ross in like 2016, but before then. Just him. Dudes crazy talented.

For anyone interested in the movie soundtrack, you need to look for the Queen album called ["A Kind of Magic".](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Kind_of_Magic) They don't make this obvious either, so although I'm sure most fans already know this, I wanted to mention it for the few who love the original movie, but did not know the odd way the soundtrack was released.

To be honest with you, you're probably better off waiting and watching the reboot they're making with Henry Cavill. The original is a movie that kicks ass if you watched it for the first time when you were young, but it doesn't really hold up well. The only thing I don't think the reboot will be able to improve upon is the soundtrack, but they're reusing the same Queen songs as the original.

Kurgan has had a *hell* of a career for someone who doesn't warrant being named. Jason Flemyng was saying in Empire that there's a funny tier of actor like him who can be in all sorts, and still not get recognized on the street. They were at dinner and a couple they met went: oh you're an actor? Anything I'd have seen? JF: > Oh, X-men, Harry Potter, Clash of the Titans, Layer Cake. And they were gobsmacked. They'd expected fiddly little university films.

Yep. Character actors who sit at that level can be all over the place and almost never recognized. If I were an actor and had a choice between a career like Clancy Brown, Rutger Hauer, William H Macy, etc. vs. Tom Cruise, Bradd Pitt, or Tom Hanks I'd go with the first group.

Fitting with the movie. Clancy Brown claims he was never paid for the role. The producers said it should be enough for him to be seen on screen with Sean Connery. Brown called them “vultures“.

Tremendous Empire article once on Highlander 2, about how the Simpsons bit where they redo Radioactive Man by piecing together old footage of Milhouse//fallout boy, comes partly from Highlander 2. They only had Connery for X days, and ran out of time, so in the last 30 minutes went > Right, Sean: look over there and say Yes. Now look over there and say 'Great idea, Highlander!' etc., and they hodgepodged lots of it in.

The film where the French actor (Christopher Lambert) plays a Scottish Highlander. But speaks in broken English in his "attempt" at doing a Scottish accent. And the actual Scottish actor (Sean Connery) plays an Egyptian Immortal mentor to the Highlander. Is barely able to disguise his Scottish accent.
