Wooooo just in time for Market Open on Mondayyyyy! Aren’t we all so glad that enterprising family members of the current administration can see *such opportunity* in this current conflict, which is both nearly over and just getting started.

Exactly makes you wonder who’s actually benefiting while everyone else deals with the fallout.

I’ll be benefiting when I buy discounted stock again on Monday. Wish I had been more aggressive the last few weeks and now we get a new chance ✌️

Eh. It's not moving. USO is up but only slightly and stocks are slightly down. So far (like always) this article exaggerates what's actually happening to sell news. It's pretty flat right now.

That’s fine too. Anything the market wants to do is fine so long as you keep buying and don’t panic sell based on the news

Nah I'm a volatility rider. I don't panic sell. I keep a hedge (USO) and dry powder and look for anything on sale. If nothing pops up I just throw it into an ETF tracking the s&p on a monthly basis. I also do one big lump sum drop a year in the beginning.

I don't know why the EU has a problem with higher energy prices? We need to cut our carbon emissions to save the planet from global warming. And this situation is a great way to go greener. Stop driving any flying everywhere.

True in principle, but high prices aren’t the same as a structured shift to clean energy. One hurts, the other actually solves the problem.

> I don't know why the EU has a problem with higher energy prices? Higher prices = financial crisis for ordinary people, especially the ones on low incomes. High energy prices affects the cost of everything.

Trumps throttling his constituents by the magijer and with his little ✊✊ dance and they’re enjoying the heck out of it.

Agreed. There’s often a disconnect between political messaging and how policies actually affect everyday people. That’s where the real discussion should be.

There are no talks. Unless you count Donny and Kushner. Can't imagine many volunteers are lining up to negotiate from the Iranian end as Trump will probably drone strike them mid talks.
