My daughter was playing her stuff a few years ago.... I (an old man🙂) stopped and asked who it was singing.... I have listened to her in various playlists ever since.... Good sound, good voice, and clever songs... Can't go wrong there!

I listen to just about everything BUT pop music, mostly metal. Her first album caught me way off guard by how much I liked it. I think the songs reminded me of places and people, some bittersweet.

I’ve said this before, but I believe that she is the single biggest driving force in rock music today, and all the old heads that matter are backing her. Mostly because it seems that she pays homage to the past, everywhere that she goes.

I do enjoy a lot of music in this genre, but for working out I listen to metal covers because it gets me hyped. Theres some good covers out there, our last night has covers for at least drivers license and vampire if you want the beat to pick up any.

Co-writes with Dan Nigro, once or twice per album someone else too. I don't know the full process but if it's only one co-writer and it's a consistent one I think it's safe to say she writes her own songs and has a significant enough contribution. I excluded the credits on SOUR that were for interpolation, so if you count that there's six songs with extra songwriters, but there's really just three so far

I feel like SOUR and GUTS are sister albums. After all, they do sound rather similar.
