If people don’t want to go back to the old times enough, you simply gotta ruin the present and future more!

Such an incredible mess. Some years ago if someone released a serious movie with plot like this I would be like "Come on! That level of absolute idiocy is impossible in the US government. Someone would have nipped it in the bud."

the sheer irony of spending decades establishing the us as the undisputed global police force for middle eastern oil routes, only to suddenly pretend it's not our problem when the strait actually gets shut down is absolutely wild ngl.

Have you ever seen dumb kids teasing a neighborhood dog but when the dog bites one of those kids it's the dog's fault. It's the same with trump poking the tiger then it's the tigers fault when he get's bitten.

it's just standard political theater tbh. taking all the credit when the global economy is doing great, but immediately passing the buck to everyone else the exact second an actual international crisis requires some heavy lifting.

You skipped the part about causing this crisis.

The military industrial complex must be so incredibly confused by this stance right now lmao. usually a massive geopolitical conflict over oil logistics is their absolute favorite time of the year tbh.

He's trying to shift responsibility away from him. Let's not forget he started this "military maneuver" on his own initiative
