Why would they be mad at someone violating the TOS of something that has no connection whatsoever? Its a pretend TV show. JFC.

I would imagine they don't want a show implicating something is allowed on their platform that isn't. I haven't seen the episode, so I'm not sure if her character is literally on O******* or an O******* knockoff, but if it's the former I can understand why they would speak out against it.

Because attention is the whole model, she’s only raising her voice to try and steal some of yours

First of all, why blame Sydney? She’s not the writer, director or producer. Also, is she supposed to have some only fans insider knowledge that she brings to the set?

They’re not, they specifically call out Sam Levinson. Even the title of the article says “slams Euphoria” Here’s the quote from the OF creator in the article: "As insane as this is, what's even crazier to me is if Sam Levinson actually did any research about OF, he'd know this content violates the TOS and would never have been allowed on the platform," she wrote on X/Twitter. "OF is very strict about the content and words it allows. Anything referencing age play is automatically flagged and banned. He really wrote this in the script for no f***ing reason. It's so gross." According to O*******' Content Moderation Policy, content will be removed if "a creator pretending to be under 18, even if this is role play or fiction."

I gotta be honest without having watched the episode in question idgaf if a tv show researches OF’s TOS for realism

No one is blaming her. The headline isn’t, the article isn’t, and the quote from the OF model calls out Sam Levinson by name.

“Oh no. TV has portrayed my profession in an unrealistic manner!” Welcome to the club, O******* creators. You can join, well… essentially every profession ever depicted on TV or in the movies.

Can we just stop talking about this woman altogether?

Unfortunately, the Bezos are backing her, and throwing her into every single thing outside of the euphoria series. There’s no reason why this girl should have so many roles, but she keeps getting thrown into new movies coming out.

Unfortunately she’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Because of Bezos? Yeah, I guess.

It’s more than just him and Amazon. She’s a hot actress willing to show her body. She has a lot of fans.

As if there won’t be a wave of new hot younger actresses once she hits 30. 🙄 I don’t think Jeff Bezos will keep her for long either. Lol no. She mostly has **gooner** fans, not the kind of audience that actually cares about her or respects her as an actress the way people do with Zendaya or Anya Taylor Joy. The core audience for her films is women, and the reality is… most women either don’t know her, don’t care about her, or don’t like her. She’s not really that profitable. The thing is though, she probably could’ve been (looking at Anyone But You) if she didn’t lean into the pick-me MAGA vibe.

>As if there won’t be a wave of new hot younger actresses once she hits 30. 🙄 I don’t think Jeff Bezos will keep her for long either. There will be for sure. But she’s in Jessica Alba territory of hotness that people will be talking about her for a while. >Lol no. The thing is though, she probably could’ve been (looking at Anyone But You) if she didn’t lean into the pick-me MAGA vibe. Boy you couldn’t be more wrong about all of that. Particularly on profitability. There’s a reason why she made the top 6 Biggest Movie Stars Under 50 Power Rankings on a recent episode The Town. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand her for several reasons, and that’s without even getting into the politics which makes her pretty much radioactive to me. Even just as an actress she’s really not great. But you are seriously downplaying her star power. For better or worse, she absolutely has it.

No she won’t because there’s no such thing as a Megan Fox or Jessica Alba anymore. No one’s a “star’ anymore, not even Zendaya. That ended like a decade ago. > There’s a reason why she made the top 6 Biggest Movie Stars Under 50 Power Rankings on a recent episode The Town. Source? > For better or worse, she absolutely has it. Has what? Controversy? Yeah, she does have that. She’s not a star, not even close. If she made an OF account, she’d be close at least. But for some reason she hasn’t done that yet.

>No she won’t because there’s no such thing as a Megan Fox or Jessica Alba anymore. No one’s a “star’ anymore, not even Zendaya. That ended like a decade ago. No it hasn’t. It’s changed, but it’s still very much a thing. >Source? https://youtu.be/hHhaNDieCrU >Has what? Star power. Please follow the context of the comments you’re quoting. >Controversy? Yeah, she does have that. She certainly does. Not denying that. >She’s not a star, not even close. Yes. She is. Just because you and I don’t like her doesn’t make it so. >If she made an OF account, she’d be close at least. But for some reason she hasn’t done that yet. She doesn’t need to, because she’s already made it.

Sure, it’s kind of still a thing but she will not go down in “internet/pop girl history” as a hot “it” girl like Megan Fox, Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, etc. I see her becoming irrelevant in 2-3 years, I think even her gooner fans would agree because they certainly don’t have a problem insulting her, repeatedly calling her “mid” and “butterface” already right now. What even is that? That’s not a reliable source. They just make predictions. “It” would mean she’s going to last for a while and people will know her, and guess what, the majority of internet goers don’t actually know her outside of memes. Dude, I don’t like Z1onist child predat0r defending Scarlett Johansson either, but she actually IS a star and she can actually act. An OF profile that’s about HER, not her character.

I think you need to stop focusing on what a bunch of Gen Z boys think and focus more on what actually matters. >What even is that? That’s not a reliable source. They just make predictions. The Town is literally one of the most respected podcasts on the topic of the business behind the industry. Matthew Belloni worked for the Hollywood Reporter for 15 years, the last 5 as their editorial director. He is extremely well connected in the industry. There’s a reason why he’s able to land interviews with the likes of Ari Emanuel, James Cameron, Jerry Bruckheimer, Emma Thomas, Ted Sarandos, Jon Favreau, Tom Rothman, or Senators Adam Schiff, and Elizabeth Warren… and that’s just within the last 6 or so months. He is a reliable source, he literally speaks with the all the top producers in the industry on a regular basis, and he literally mentions their opinions in this very episode on this subject. Whether we like it or not, Sydney Sweeney has their attention right now. I’m sorry but you don’t seem to know anything about this industry. I do, this is my industry. >“It” would mean she’s going to last for a while and people will know her, and guess what, the majority of internet goers don’t actually know her outside of memes. She’s already on track to last longer than Megan Fox, so what are we even talking about here? >Dude, I don’t like Z1onidt child predat0r defending Scarlett Johansson either, …what? I don’t even know what you’re saying here. >An OF profile that’s about HER, not her character. It’s extremely clear I was talking about her already “making it” as in, she is already a star, not that she has already made an OF. I’m not sure why you are having such a hard time following this conversation.

It’s a TV show. Not real life. And she’s an actress, acting what someone else wrote. Sounds like someone is jelious of SS. No one care if a fictional character broke a p*** sites rules

blackivie 2 days ago +7
The p*** site probably cares. I doubt they want it implied that they support baby play when it’s against terms.

If you'd read the article instead of just the headline, you'd see her specifically calling out the writer and HBO, not Sweeney at all. So, no, doesn't sound like she's "jelious".
