Keep that bubble growing as long as possible right? Nothing could go wrong for sure!

Aren't they supposed to be in a bad spot financially? This feels like a really bad decision but then again, they are a dumb AI company so it's not surprising.

They need ridiculous amounts of money to try and make any of this sustainable. Their ideas are gonna get more desperate as time goes on

It feels like this is only going to make for a bigger and harsher collapse in the end.

100%... This administration and enough members of Congress will then use taxpayer's money to bail them out.

They can’t bail them out, it’s too much money. There is an absurd level of money tied up into all of this, and it’s not like they offer a service like an airline or bank that we need to keep around.

Inoculate your CEO against these ghouls, or watch your job vanish into the ether.

Weird. All the AI bros tell me that AI is the future and that I'm going to lose my job if I don't adapt. So why do they need 4 billion to "aid corporate push"?

Er....by AI bros you mean some of the most important technical minds on the planet including the ones who left those institutions to warn people about the dangers and consequences?

Imagine all the good that $4 billion could do for actual people.

Imagine all the good trillions spent on bombs could do for people.
AI will do both bad and good for people likely.

AI will do A LOT more bad. Between the environmental impact and the fact that it will mostly be used to eliminate jobs or massively surveil us. Yeah, there will be some benefits in the medical field and such, but that's really it.
