The funniest part of this entire trial is that its basically two of the most powerful tech billionaires on earth arguing over who the public should trust more.
Musk says Altman cant be trusted, Altman says Musk wanted control of everything, former OpenAI people are accusing each other of lying and meanwhile the rest of us are supposed to feel comfortable about these people building superintelligent AI systems.
Not exactly reassuring.

The good news is neither of them are gonna do that. They're just building chatbots and are gonna tank the economy once all the spending doesn't result in the pie-in-the-sky productivity gains.
Think of Elon's "humans on mars" babbling for the past two decades. It's like that but there's a couple trillion bet on it.

Anyone who insists they’re trustworthy doesn’t sound trustworthy to me. Your actions should speak for you.

Both of them are not trustworthy.
Sam Altman has been described by his former coworkers as to have constantly broken promises or lie to get ahead in the corporate world EVEN BEFORE he got in OpenAI. Hell, OpenAI literally stopped Sora without telling Disney first, even though they had a million dollar deal with the company.
And Elon Musk... there's so much bs like Twitter, the US government, Doge, Mars, self-driving vehicles, robots etc.
