It's funny cause I never really clocked him until it *was* star wars fans bitching and then also trying to do fanfiction with him and another character that was unfortunately written in the movies as close to a minstrel as you can get. Then I forgot about him until Frankenstein where he was so so different. I mean he plays a self absorbed prick quite well but I barely recognized him between Ex Machina and now. Beef...this doesn't need to be rehashed...maybe they'll do a good job but it just seems like it's going in the direction of American Horror story with a healthy dose of scripted reality tv that is trying to compete with the White Lotus version of narrative.

After Andor I'm officially done with that franchise until they make a Dr. Aphra show but considering Aphra is a woman and asian it'll most likely make the unwashed basement dwelling toxic fans come out in droves.

Yeah I cannot imagine it ever getting better than Andor. That series was incredible. I hope they learn something from it but I doubt it very much.
