> The 99th Oscars will take place Sunday, March 14, 2027, followed by the 100th Oscars on Sunday, March 5, 2028. Both ceremonies will air live at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The Academy also recently announced that the Oscars will relocate venues, moving from the Dolby Theatre to the Peacock Theater beginning in 2029, where the ceremony will remain through 2039.

Weird decision. I thought it was a fairly common consensus that “Awards Season” has gotten too long as it is. Dragging out FYC campaigns and all the associated hype/puff pieces just kind of gets exhausting by the time you hit mid-March.
