I do not see a possible way for Trump to get around this. If you're born here you're a citizen. The words are pretty clear. This should be a 9 to 0 decision.

Im sure your supreme court will find some old british text from 1273 where someone defined all the words in a different sense, so that they can argue that the amendment actually means the contrary of what it says.

Last I heard last year was the angle they’re looking at is whether someone here illegally is under the “jurisdiction” of the country. So you’re right, a really stupid harebrained interpretation of a term to create a loophole. Clearly anyone here and subject to our laws is under our jurisdiction under common interpretation.
