Pakistan’s army chief landed in Tehran to a warm welcome from officials as he tries to help renew talks between the US and Iran after the two sides failed to clinch a peace agreement in Islamabad over the weekend.

Middle east is a quagmire. Cant go hands off unfortunately. Too much energy, too much trade. Dosnt help that its the region that is the intersection of the existing world powers sphere of influences. Nor does it help the region is in a dsrk age following the partition and collapse of the ottoman empires. Borders and identities are in a state of thrash.

Bro I don't even want to think what'll happen then, Pakistan is a nuclear armed country with a capable army, they will strike back on Israel. This will truly be the start of WW3

i think is going off a bit too much off to a fantasy off ramp instead of probable Alternative history of stuff that can happen. I don't think Pakistan will ever have the balls to use Nuclear weapons against anybody other than India. Their elites class that actually control the button have too much invested in the area around Israel. (And even the Indian elites have too much investment in the Middle East). Their nuclear weapons if they are ever used, (and India will only use theirs if they are attacked first) will be used in Northern India. And that has very little chance of that happening. But if it did occur, the death toll from those reciprocal strikes will probably ensure the end of nuclear strikes in future coz it will mean like 10-15% of humanity is wiped out. Probably even both world wars combined wouldn't have effected humankind as a whole.

Yeah I don't think nuclear weapons will be used but I said nuclear armed because it's a real threat and gives them a lot of power unlike Iran or any middle eastern country except Israel

Israel has them and it hasn’t stopped Iran from attacking them from all sides for decades. The only situation I think they would use them is if things got truly existential, and then the world would change forever. Makes me wonder what all the people looking to topple Israel actually think would happen if they succeeded.

Balls have nothing to do with it. Nuclear weapons aren't used. The idea that with big enough balls, one would use nukes is Trump level dumb.

I hope you spoke out against islamic republic legalising marriage and r*** of little girls, and their murder of little girls in the thousands, or their use of child soldiers, or their prostitution of little girls to terrorist militias, or their gassing of a little girls school. Hopefully you don’t only care about little Iranian girls dying when it’s the US, but also when islamic regime have killed a thousand times more little girls.

Why should there be peace with islamic republic? The world didn’t want peace talks with ISIS. They understood that only the eradication of ISIS would ensure peace. islamic republic is the same.

No, I’m not. We have very intermittent contact with our family in Iran. I last got a couple of messages through to me 4 days ago, but all of the VPNs they are attempting to use are either getting blocked or something else is happening with the internet. The vast majority of people don’t have any internet access at all, or the connection is so poor only one or two small sentences are coming through via some messaging apps.
