100 people is a massive number. I have honestly never understood Pakistans foreign policy when it comes to Afghanistan and the United States
On one hand there is clear historical evidence that Pakistan supported Afghan fighters during the Soviet–Afghan War on behalf of the US.
But then later It also backed the Taliban even while officially aligning with the US during the War on Terror.
Like… what exactly is the strategy here? What do they actually gain from playing both sides?
At some point it just feels like that old saying if you keep raising snakes to use against others don’t be surprised when they eventually turn on you too.

Basically, it’s all about Pashtun nationalism.
The Pashtuns are the main ethnic group of Afghanistan; the Taliban are all mainly Pashtun. But, there are actually more Pashtuns that live in Pakistan than do in Afghanistan. This is due to the Emir of Afghanistan ceding territory to British India in 1893.
Every subsequent Afghanistan government has always seen the Pashtun areas of Pakistan as rightfully theirs and the Taliban are no different.
Pakistan supported the Taliban, believing that they would be loyal to Pakistan and finally recognize the Durand Line. Of course, it didn’t play out that way.

100 is the low estimate, the hospital has 2000 patients plus a few hundred staff. The updated figures are at least 400.

Pakistan is an ally/close to both the US and China and have nuke. They won't face any consequences.

We claim civility and yet we live by might makes right, at least I’m not seeing any comments defending this crime unlike other conflicts.

It feels out of hand because the literal Taliban will tell you that former US base they took over was actually a drug rehab hospital, and you’ll take that at face value.

Consequences? The UN and UNSC were designed so there is no consequences for any country in the UNSC or their buddies.

The purpose of Pakistani establishment/military dictatorship is not the well being of its citizens. It is to export terror to wherever they can.

Hi Pakistan - Thanks for the Ramadan Gift of bombing a hospital miles away from your target. Can't wait to see what you'll bring us for Eid.

ps: Maybe we can get together for Iftar one of these days to condemn the evil Israeli bombing of innocents in Lebanon?

I think it’s a vassal state to US. US being biggest terrorist country in the world. Maybe second to Israel.

Muslims killing each other in Ramadan. Very disappointed in Pakistan. I’m sure this is due to western(American) influence.
