Almost like people in general don't like to hate and murder each other because their leaders say so or because they believe in different sky faries.

Meanwhile the US is double tapping people clinging to charred wreckage off the coast of South America.

For the love of propaganda....we are making news out of normal protocols. Indian navy has done numerous such operations saving Pakistani nationals from Somali pirates and attending distress calls. https://apnews.com/article/india-somalia-ship-hijacking-iranian-vessel-9d682c764cb9ed22582d1b0a5a87e38d https://www.reuters.com/world/indian-navy-rescues-iranian-fishing-vessel-hijacked-by-pirates-2024-03-30/ https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/indian-navy-helps-fishing-vessel-with-pakistani-crew-in-arabian-sea-101714799461354.html Stop projecting regular protocols as humanitarian crisis.

So following the international law of the seas is news?

Given what the US is doing these days, yes.

What? IRIS Lavan was docked in Kochi, Kerala when it was in distress for 10 days, India provided them aide and resources (4th March - 14th March) You're probably thinking of IRIS Dena which was shot down by US Navy, a month after participating in the Naval exercise in Bay of Bengal.

Fake news. When IRIS Dena transmitted its distress call at 05:08 hrs on March 4, the ship was 19 nautical miles off the coast of Galle, Sri Lanka, squarely in Sri Lankan waters, not Indian waters. Who responded first depends on geography, and Sri Lanka was right there, so they came first. However, India still showed up, with INS Tarangini, INS Ikshak, and a P-8I Neptune long-range maritime patrol aircraft from Kochi to assist in search and rescue after being notified by Sri Lanka’s Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre. And India had already sheltered IRIS Lavan with 183 Iranian sailors at Kochi, despite significant diplomatic cost given US pressure at the time. The crew that drowned were killed by torpedoes fired by USS Charlotte. So, if you want to be angry about Iranian sailors dying, direct that anger at the right address, not New Delhi.
