so it begins. countries that aren't self-sustainable and don't have redundancies will begin to show signs of disruptions in their utilities. if Pakistan has nukes, shouldn't it have at least a capacity to have a nuclear power plant? EDIT: Thanks for the comments below, Pakistan does have power plants. But still, is it still not enough?

I believe they are sold to and operated by China. Imagine china giving discounts in time of crisis. Pakistanis truly belive China is their best friend. They have phrases like "Asaam se unchi...samandar se gehri"...Taller than sky and deeper than Ocean to describe their friendship...lol

They almost had us in my home country. Sadly, other neighboring Southeast Asian countries have debt traps that are too big to crawl out of. They're smart bastards, I'll give them that.

It's 2026, that disinformation started by India has been refuted already.

Your strawman argument doesn't address the fact that India's disinfo about the debt trap was refuted just like the disinformation about Pakistan's' nuclear power plants.

Reuters report written by a pakistani journalist told us that they were selling their JF-17s to the whole world and getting rich. Someone should ask reuters to fact check the bullcr@p Pakistani propoganda that is pushed via them. [https://www.reuters.com/world/china/pakistans-combat-tested-jets-boost-weapons-sales-2026-01-20/](https://www.reuters.com/world/china/pakistans-combat-tested-jets-boost-weapons-sales-2026-01-20/) [https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/pakistan-eyes-defence-pact-with-bangladesh-sale-jf-17-jets-2026-01-07/](https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/pakistan-eyes-defence-pact-with-bangladesh-sale-jf-17-jets-2026-01-07/) [https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/pakistan-indonesia-closing-jets-drones-defence-deal-sources-say-2026-01-12/](https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/pakistan-indonesia-closing-jets-drones-defence-deal-sources-say-2026-01-12/) With the noise and propoganda it seemed even USA was planning to replace their F-35s with JF-17s /s.

It's a matter of fact that Pakistan is selling JF-17. Some countries have even received their orders. It's not propaganda but reality. I understand some might not be able to handle that.

C**** Temu jets assembled in Pakistan sell in third world countries. I am sure Pakistan is making huge margin on assembling Chinese jets and selling it for less 40 million bucks. Pakistans total capacity JF-17 is not more than 20 jets per year......lol !! The capacity is not even billion dollars per year revenue if you do that maths. Doesnt even come close to noise these guys make with their propoganda.

A third world country that actually has a military industrial base is quite the achievement on its own. JF-17 is a very capable jet, as it was shown during the latest India Pakistan conflict. To call it c**** temu jet shows you aren't really interested in facts. Around 60% of the jet is produced in Pakistan. Even India with a much larger economy was only producing 24 Tejas per year.

RD-93 on JF-17 is russian engine. So you might want to reassess if 60% indigenous components is by weight (including pilot weight). JF-17 are so superior that they failed to protect Pakistani bases. Sqdr leader Usman Yousuf and his AWACs crew wouldnt have died in Bholari hangar if JF-17 was so capable. Also India isnt making noise about Tejas. You guys are. India is silently creating a new warship every 40 days without any propaganda. https://www.business-standard.com/amp/external-affairs-defence-security/news/indian-navy-adding-new-indigenous-vessel-every-40-days-admiral-tripathi-125110401151_1.html

It has to do with Pakistani economy which cant afford to keep light on and flood of propaganda reuters reports of rising JF-17 sales which was going to fix Pakistan economy. PAF JF-17s which failed to protect PAF bases. 14 of PAF bases got badly hit.JF-17s failed to protect squadron leader Yousuf Usman and his AWACs crew in their own bholari air base hangar.

Why do you feel the need to talk about this in an article about power cuts?  It's not as if india is the epicenter of r&d and manufacturing in the defense sector.  India with world's biggest population and 4th biggest economy does not contribute even 1% to defense export of the world.  https://www.statista.com/statistics/267131/market-share-of-the-leadings-exporters-of-conventional-weapons/

India is land of Buddha not Yuddha ( war) like what our PM Modi says. We export peace and love not weapons. We dont boast of defense exports and do propoganda on reuters embedded Pakistani journalist. Not does Indian PM give speeches like Sharif that they are selling so much JF-17s that it will fix the countrys economy…lol

>  India is land of Buddha not Yuddha ( war) like what our PM Modi says. We export peace and love not weapons. India does export defense equipments. Just not in top 10.  > We dont boast of defense exports and do propoganda on reuters embedded Pakistani journalist. Not does Indian PM give speeches like Sharif that they are selling so much JF-17s that it will fix the countrys economy…lol  The amount of boasting and insecurity you are showing opposite of the mindset you are trying to convey. Read a newspaper/magazine once in a while and don't blindely follow politicians rhyming slogans.  "Boasting"  https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/indias-defence-exports-at-all-time-high-who-buys-and-what-india-sells-11310235 Here is "indian embedded" journalist for reuters.  https://www.reuters.com/world/india/india-defence-exports-surged-62-41-billion-fiscal-year-march-2026-04-02/

Like you mentioned its a small surplus which gets exported. Also unlike Pakistan embedded journalist is stating facts not writing here-say or reporting inquiries as sales. Indias overall export is love and peace.

They could try a country-wide power exchange, which should use less electricity.

Well that might explain why the P***'s are so interested in the situation getting resolved. On the bright side there is a 2-hour respite every day from accidental electrocution. Look at that tangle.
