Pamela Anderson’s New Campaign Bans AI Models
Anderson stars in a new campaign for AEO’s Aerie that doubles down on the lifestyle brand’s pledge to “always keep it 100 percent real: no AI-generated bodies, no AI-generated people. Ever.”

as someone who has countless AI clones made about her, I’m in 10 toes.

I also suspect plastic surgery will go out of fashion because of AI. Looking like normal humans will become fashionable. Being not quite perfect will be cool. Well it will always be really necessary as a profession, but it will be more about correcting scars, helping deformities, and tidying up real problems than small nose tweaks. Many actors today recognize that their funky eyes or off-center nose and lips are what make them unique and special. E.g. Adam Driver- if a knife ever touched him he would be far less popular.

RIP Jennifer Grey’s original nose

Instead of AI she should have been pushing for no more photoshop in anything. It has screwed up so many girls.

Useful-Soup8161 Mar 28, 2026 +26
The company she’s doing this campaign with doesn’t use photoshop either.

kh2riku Mar 28, 2026 +20
Pamela Anderson is absolutely one of the most public faces of this movement (natural aging/no impossible beauty standards) already. Not the person to criticize for photoshop use.

sorestgore Mar 29, 2026 +4
Photoshop is a general editing tool, it doesn't mean it's used to stretch and sleep. It can clean up the photo in the same way darkroom artists did in the past

It’s just not realistic.

I don’t know but something is up with that camera

The article seems to be focused on the concept that A.I. generated images will replace the jobs of fashion /media models in the industry and Pamela is against that. But we need to be clear here that virtually every job can be replaced by an A.I. System or robot within the next couple of decades so we should all be worried about that together.

AI can’t paint

FlowAcrobatic Mar 29, 2026 +1
Is this really what she looks like today?
1
DokeyOakey Mar 29, 2026 +1
Yes, and?
1
bigsmokaaaa Mar 28, 2026 -20
Didn't she have an entire fake relationship with Liam Neeson as a publicity stunt?
-20
jojomoodie Mar 28, 2026 +1
Fact of the matter is we have no idea whether it was real or not, and snarky cynicism does not equate to intelligence.
1
bigsmokaaaa Mar 28, 2026 -1
I know that I'm stupid I'm sorry
-1
jojomoodie Mar 28, 2026 +1
No im sorry I don't mean to say you are stupid, i just have a negative reflex to cynicism sometimes, this is my own shit but it seems like the powers at be get handed to people because they think these cynical assholes are smart and it just doesn't have to be.

Useful-Soup8161 Mar 28, 2026 +1
That’s a common pr tactic for movies these days.

Now that her looks are gone, she's suddenly and conviently all in on this 'natural beauty' thing. She spent her whole career using her looks, including cosmetic surgery, to make money and get attention. Now, women should embrace their natural appearance as they are....it's ONLY because she's not attractive anymore.

The_Lapsed_Pacifist Mar 29, 2026 +2
So she should have kept getting surgery and plastering herself with slap until she looked like a freak then? I’d bet you’d be here criticising her if she did that as well.
2
pg2324 Mar 29, 2026 +1
How about not whoring yourself out to begin with? It wasn't just when she was 20 y/o, she was still prancing around naked well into her 40s. My point is, it took her til 60 y/o to arrive at this 'mature' sentiment. She has no choice but to embrace 'natural beauty' because she is no longer beautiful, even if she got more surgery.

The_Lapsed_Pacifist Mar 29, 2026 +1
I’m not wasting more of my time bandying words with a judgemental prick on my day off.

Seems hypocritical for a woman who made a career off fake t*** to preach about keeping it real and natural. There has to be a better messenger for this campaign.

Ltrain86 Mar 28, 2026 +41
Her b**** may have been fake but she's always kept it real. Ditch the misogyny, it's not a vibe in 2026.

monkeybawz Mar 28, 2026 +19
The shit she must have put up with that we don't know about would probably make an extremely distributing horror film.

healthcrusade Mar 28, 2026 +10
She criticized the #metoo movement in 2017 and 2018 saying that it was "too much," "boring," and that women should have "common sense" to avoid potentially compromising situations, such as entering hotel rooms with men. She tricked people into believing she was in love with Liam Neeson too promote that stupid Naked Gun movie. Let's not say she keeps it real all the time.

jojomoodie Mar 28, 2026 +1
Guess what- as much as we might disagree, lots of people say the metoo movement went too far. I do not understand people's obsession with the liam neeson thing- we should not get to act like we know she was pretending if we don't.

Ok_Outcome8724 Mar 28, 2026 +5
Perhaps then the conclusion is that we should heed her advice rather than accuse her of hypocrisy. Imagine making a huge mistake and trying to warn others but others refuse to listen for the reason you just demonstrated. In that way humanity is doomed to repeat its mistakes indefinitely. We have to trust each other more if we’re ever going to get better.

sepam Mar 28, 2026 +3
She’s been making bad faith arguments her entire life. PETA is a great example. Just because she’s now on the right side doesn’t mean she’s not a hypocrite.

enjoy your ai girlfriend

sepam Mar 28, 2026 +2
What? That’s the best you got? It doesn’t even make sense.
2
equalsme Mar 28, 2026 -3
i figured it wouldn't make sense to you. you can't seem to understand the difference between digital ai generated women and real women
-3
sepam Mar 28, 2026 +5
You can’t seem to understand a woman known for plastic surgery and air brushed photos is trying to educate us on natural. Terrible spokesperson for the cause. As to what that has do to with ai girlfriends, who the f*** knows.
5
equalsme Mar 28, 2026 -5
you cant seem to understand that photoshop or airbrush on a real woman is completely different than a generated ai woman, not even close to being on the same category or planet. since you don't know the difference I will repeat again: enjoy your digital virtual ai girlfriend
-5
sepam Mar 28, 2026 +2
So someone who faked it a little is telling us to not fake it too much? Lol.

by any chance did your mother ever give you a hug? lmao

Your jokes are so unrelated to the topic that it’s sad. But the real depressing part is you don’t realize it and you just keep going. I’m waiting for the next one
