This may be a stupid question, bear with. Where else could it have leaked from? Do they mean to say it wasn’t a deliberate internal leak, as in someone was hacked? I am failing to understand how the file would have originated anywhere else.

It means no one who works for the studio was involved. That’s corporate speak for ‘we were hacked and we’re still not sure how bad.’
