The cherry on top is that they ended by saying that this delicious was made by a human and not a bot and that I could appeal. So I appealed, pointed out that this is a video game character they never responded. Some dude saw two right angles, pulled an assumption out of his ass and dug his heels in.

Not the guy you replied to, but I once caught a 3 day harassment ban for a single comment in a thread that read "you are very gullible". I also got a week long ban for threatening violence because I was talking about the relative effectiveness of different guns in a video game. I was banned from r/uncanny_xmen because they are actively promoting AI over the actual artists that work on the books. I stated that it takes away from the merit of the work and that there are years of professional and fan art to pull from, no need for AI. Now it’s a haven for AI users for comic books as well as a dumping ground for lewd cosplays

Yeah, the admin warnings and bans are insane. They're largely made with AI now that doesn't understand context. And what's crazy is that the Listnook stores comment edit history. So you can even immediately "ninja edit" a comment to rephrase a potentially objectionable sentence or even flat out delete the comment within a second or two of posting it, and the admin AI will still give you a warning/ban a couple hours later.

And my favorite part of this all is that due to at least the mobile website of New Listnook being super janky, any offensive comment you made still appears in the inbox and notifications of the user you replied to in full, but when they click that notification, it just says "comment doesn't exist."

I'm surprised a human actually reversed the AI decision. I've received bans for "harassment" for calling a TV show "f\*\*\*ing st\*pid" when replying to someone (I guess the AI thought the comment was directed at the user rather than the TV show that was the topic of discussion?). Appealing the bans has always just generated a generic message saying my appeal was denied.

Pretty sure he got the same ban because suddenly yesterday I got a message from him the moment it lifted, being a psycho still.
