Ok I looked into that out of curiosity and it was a fig tree? And he was mad that it wasn't the time of the year when the tree would have had fruit on it so he cursed it and it died. He then went to the temple to overturn all the merchant tables. But I'm curious why he got ass mad at a tree for it not being the right season? This makes him look like a fool.

Which is a metaphor for the religious institution at the time not practicing Judaism the way jesus wanted them to. Which is fine. But I dont get why they had it in the wrong season lol. Just say that it WAS the growing season, but the fruit still wasnt being produced. Feels like an unforced error to me
