As a Canadian I was hoping he’d finish Iran first before starting his next war. Cause the way I see it, it goes Venezuela->Iran->Cuba->Greendland->Canada With the Greenland/Canada order subject to change. My Maga coworkers literally celebrate all the oil we're taking from Venezuala as some massive victory, yet home heating oil has gone up by over $1.5/gallon in my area and gas prices are over $4 right now when they were under $3 just a couple months ago. They're not going to oppose Trump until their voters pressure them to do so. Ultimately change is going to have to start with the people. So far the electorate has shown a clear majority which either supports Trump or cannot be bothered to vote against him. America has to chose to not be fascist, and hasn't yet made that choice.

The guy who wins in risk is wither the one who no one notices while everyone else is fighting, or one of the two players who form a strong alliance. It literally is the board game risk, and we are doing the exact opposite of what you are supposed to do.

I think he’s going for Nazi Germany vibes instead risk. Opening additional fronts when he’s not finished with the first.

Trump would last about 10 seconds into game of risk before flipping the table over, telling you he’s won, and then spending the next 5 hours “truthing” about how he never even cared about the game in the first place. The next day he would “truth” that he beat your ass so hard at the game that you had to run home crying.  Art of the deal.

American workers could gain SO FRIGGIN MUCH from a one month general strike. You would not believe how fast the "untouchable oligarchs" fold. The things other countries have, are extremely feasible to have, but the powers that be only want to give as little as they can get away with and take everything else for themselves. Let them get away with less and you can have more.

Obama normalized relations, but relations don't really mean much because the country even under obama still wasn't allowed, or assisted in economically trying to recover. I think this one is less about a knee-jerk response to Obama and more about the wild success of the "Shove Maduro into the Back of a Van" operation. Everyone in his inner circle who was pro-Operation Free Candy Van now has his ear, and anyone who was against it is in out in the cold. Basically anything that Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth can agree on is gonna get greenlit.

I'd argue that it's nothing new for US. I mean, he's spectacularly dismantling all illusion, but honestly, US being good guys is image created exclusively by Hollywood, without that propaganda how can anyone seriously claim that US is anything but evil? At this point it's just regular occurrence, a documented pattern of overthrowing governments and bombing countries to secure geopolitical dominance. You only need to look at the timeline. The CIA orchestrated the removal of democratically elected leaders in Iran in 1953 and Guatemala in 1954 just to protect corporate profits and resource monopolies. Then came the millions of civilian casualties from carpet bombing Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
