Sounds cool but I have concerns about the supplier. Bombardier makes airplanes and the development cycle time for planes is stupid long compared to that of drones. If Boeing made drones they would cost $600k each and the first ones would show up in ten years. It’s almost better to have a random Vancouver startup do it so they’d have an appetite for risk and, consequently, high speed

The US is not self-sufficient. We use 20 million barrels of oil per day and we "only" produce 13.6 million barrels per day.
We're a net exporter of total petroleum products overall but that includes everything made from oil and not just oil itself. For crude oil specifically, we still import more than we export. The same goes for gasoline. That's why our gas, diesel, and goods on store shelves will continue to rise for the foreseeable future because we can't make enough of it for ourselves.
Even if we could produce 20 million barrels per day domestically, our refining capacity tops out around 18.4 million barrels per day and around 60% of that is dedicated to heavy crude which is not the kind we produce domestically. This is why we export 4 million+ barrels per day of our own stuff already because it'd just sit there piling up otherwise.

I'd argue that it's nothing new for US. I mean, he's spectacularly dismantling all illusion, but honestly, US being good guys is image created exclusively by Hollywood, without that propaganda how can anyone seriously claim that US is anything but evil? At this point it's just regular occurrence, a documented pattern of overthrowing governments and bombing countries to secure geopolitical dominance.
You only need to look at the timeline. The CIA orchestrated the removal of democratically elected leaders in Iran in 1953 and Guatemala in 1954 just to protect corporate profits and resource monopolies. Then came the millions of civilian casualties from carpet bombing Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the US government backed brutal regimes across South America, including funding the military coup that installed Augusto Pinochet in Chile and illegally arming the Contras in Nicaragua.
In modern times, the strategy shifted to the Middle East. The 2003 invasion of Iraq was launched on completely fabricated evidence of weapons of mass destruction, leading to massive destabilization. In 2011, military intervention in Libya toppled the government and left the nation destroyed. Now the world is seeing the exact same playbook unfold with the 2026 military campaign against Iran.
None of this is hidden history. It is a consistent foreign policy built on violence and economic exploitation.

Don't forget the CIA also installed a dictator in Indonesia. If you google the most corrupt president in recent history his name shows up.

But remember we can't elect a woman because they're too emotional and would start a new war every month.

The thing is, the Epstein files are probably horrific but obviously will just confirm much of what we already suspect. Drumpf is a pedophile, potentially responsible for the deaths of children, trafficked children out of Mar-a-Lardo, raped children and adults.. The lives lost in these unjustified and illegal invasions and extrajudicial killings are not the distraction the bloated orange puddingbrain thinks they are. They are war crimes. War crimes which he, or all of us, will one day pay a price for. They won't make us stop demanding the complete and unredacted files be released. They'll just make us demand the complete and unredacted files be released *and* the idiot and his cabinet be arrested and prosecuted for war crimes.

"The directives appear to be an escalation of recent tensions between the U.S. and Cuba that began in January when the Trump administration curbed oil shipments to Cuba as part of a broader campaign to force sweeping political changes on the communist-run island"
What did Cuba do to earn a blockade against them?

How are they going to do that? It's one of the world's most powerful countries, both militarily and economically.
They have veto powers both in the UN and the security council.

Learned helplessness is a factor, having a non-responsive government is another, non-stop right wing propaganda campaigns, etc. Maybe those aren't good enough reasons for you, but it isn't for no reason.

This is not funny. Trump must be curtailed.
What is the Constitutional way? It's not funny, it's worrying.
Ukraine, no support. Venezuela, kidnapped the president, Iran, negotiating then extra judicial killing. The list is endless.
He's mad, bad and dangerous.
UK.

Shouldn't they focus on the war they already started? I feel like a second war is a bit... Dumb? Is that the right word?

We can’t afford to pay attention (let alone anything else), and we are going to engage in ridiculously expensive military operations in two counties? All while we (supposedly) can’t afford childcare, the social safety net, or anything else designed to support the working class citizens of this country.
But we have money for war… and stupid ball rooms, and architecture honoring a still in office (and worst in history) president. Hundreds of billions for immigration and customs enforcement… no controls on AI while it ravages the work force. Hundreds of thousands of government workers jobs eliminated, the dismantling of our constitutional rights, international relations in shambles, higher prices through stupid tariffs and unnecessary military action.
I’d take Biden in full blown dementia over this nightmare.
If you believe for one second Drumpf cares about you… you’re stupid, or ignorant…
Or both.
This is insane. Someone, please… show these imbeciles the door.
