If by "people" you mean the person who wrote that, then I guess so. And that person is probably better to explain why.

No, I’ve seen people all over Listnook trying to defend him. People that are obsessed with Buffy and the Avengers still defend him.
Edit: I should clarify that I used to be a huge fan of him. Now I can’t stand people trying to defend him.

Ok. I'm using the wrong Listnook. Unless "people all over Listnook" is also a generalization that doesn't apply to lots of cases.
Even here I see people who are not defending him.

Are you going to r/movies or r/television? Are you going to places where Buffy is mentioned or the Avengers? Everyone has their own places they go. I often talk about my displeasure of Joss because I used to be a big fan of his so I often see the response. Ive seen a lot of defenders.

But that's not all over Listnook like you wrote. That's generalizing as if those subs or topics represent all over Listnook.
That's my problem with OP, and my problem with your statement. You like to say "people" and "all." You don't recognize those who are not part of "people" to you, you don't recognize those who are not part of "all" to you, you don't recognize those who are not part of "Listnook" to you, if you think that's "people all over Listnook"

the guy’s own writing was becoming a spoof of itself by the time Age of Ultron came out and got even worse in the Justice League reshoots. He used the same “man falls face first into b****” gag in both movies
The reality is that Whedon is just too much of an a****** for Hollywood to want to put up with. So many people came forward with their own horror stories of working with the guy and Marvel has all but pretended he never existed. Actually weird how quiet everyone is over at Marvel, they must have everyone locked down with NDAs or something

“Worse people are getting away with it” is a f****** terrible argument. For shame.

When the news started hitting about the possible Firefly reboot, I had to ask myself if I wanted to put more cash into Whedon’s pockets by supporting it. I decided “nah”, I would think this movement is to try and sanitize Whedon’s image enough that fans who are teetering on the edge will lean into the potential animated series.

He won't make any money off the Firefly reboot. Disney owns it now.
I know Nathan said he got Joss' blessing IF this animated Firefly show works but that was just to appease what fans.

Well, not being a Disney fan, that’s ok too. The last thing I watched out of their stable was the Loki series, since then nothing. Killing Wash off was my line in the sand for Firefly, as least as far as Whedon was concerned since it was a bitter and mean move on his part. Whedon seems to hate happy couples, I guess. Anyhow, happy enough to give any future spin offs from any Whedonverse/Disneyverse projects a pass.

I was worried about the Firefly announcement but Fillion was careful in his wording and made it seem like he had Joss's permission. Not involvement.
