Antifa is not a terrorist organization. It is short for anti-fascism something our entire country was during WWII.
Trump and friends like to use the term as if it’s an actual organization so the can dupe the red hat wearing cult members.

They weren't - there were definitely Nazi sympathizers, but definitely not in the numbers we have today. Lunacy was more fringe before the internet.

We had a US Nazi rally in 1939. We had Nazi-aligned sitting congressmen. It definitely wasn't fringe. Sanity won out in the end but we shouldn't delude ourselves.

It’s much easier to manipulate people who believe in god. And you are correct- antifacism literally means antifa. The opposite of antifa is facism.

Release of Epstein files would have stopped so much of the chaos. They have blurred the line with religion and accountability:) it’s intentional. We are headed toward a very bad time if religion is taken more seriously than accountability:)

Even when America does fascism, it's a moronic version of it. Too bad the majority are incapable of understanding how bad things are now and how much worse they're going to get.

Headline is completely wrong:
“The charges came after a protest outside of an ICE facility outside of Fort Worth last year. Activists planned to set off fireworks outside of the facility in solidarity with those detained inside, traveling with a cache of automatic weapons and body armor they said was for self-defense against counter-protesters. Once they got there, a small group broke away and began vandalizing cars in the parking lot, spray painting graffiti, slashing tires on a government van, and breaking a security camera. A police officer arrived on the scene and drew his weapon at those in the parking lot, one of the activists opened fire with an AR-15 and hit the police officer in the shoulder. He ultimately survived.”

We must unite.
They want us dumb, hungry , tired angry, scared and/or distracted so that we will put up little resistance when full autocracy is tried.
WE MUST STOP THEM THIS MIDTERM ELECTION: November 2026. It is the last democratic chance out of this mess.
Vote, donate, volunteer, door knock/canvass, phone bank, write postcards.
Get in touch with your local community organizations or democratic headquarters now to get involved. Here are some good organizations mobilizing people:

I lived in Berlin for several years. East side. There was a huge purple building with the antifa logo painted over its facade. Squatting art house - common in Berlin due to renters protections and anarchist culture.
You would see antifa at a every ADF rally. Antifa is an activist movement with localized organization. Usually strong with the counter culture punks and anarchists. So like, they are for sure not a terrorist organization, but Americans understanding of being like: I'm antifa!
No. You support anti-fascist views, but that's like saying you believe in climate change so thus you're part of Greenpeace.
Edit: downvoted for what purpose? You want to be antifa? Go actually do antifa things like organize locally to affect change and disrupt fascism. It's an important distinction: the *action* part of antifa as an activist movement.

They showed up with guns and shot the police with an AR-15... At a certain point it crosses a threshold...
P.S. This is my view on this, and I think Trump is a f****** idiot that has no business being president

The scary part is they charged everyone around the shooter with providing material support to terrorists... not that the person who shot a cop got in trouble.

>They showed up
The whole point is defining who "they" is. An entire protest is not liable for the actions of one person. If it was, Charlie Kirk would have been in prison after Jan 6. Creating a fake conspiracy to say they confederated for purposes of one guy's crime is dangerous and basically unmakes the First Amendment, because any protest can be broken up by just having one plant in the audience throw something.

Sounds like the protesters were using their 1st and 2nd amendment rights and when an fascist cop drew his weapon on unarmed people someone moved to protect the crowd. They didn't roll up and just start shooting at cops. Events happened that lead to that.

I don’t understand why cops are allowed to threaten our lives without repercussions yet we the people can’t hold a sandwich without cops justifying deadly force. Brandishing a gun is a crime for us. They can throw the barrel of a gun in our face and that’s just normal law enforcement.

Not to mention that it appears the cop lied during the trial
>After questioning from the defense, Gross, a correctional officer in the line of fire and a Texas Ranger testified that Gross may have pulled his gun before the shooter drew his rifle.
Because earlier in their testimony they said they were shot soon as they exited the vehicle.
>He told two people dressed in all black — one with an AR-15-style rifle, one running away — to stop.
>In a matter of seconds, someone could be heard yelling "get to the rifles" before a flurry of gunfire sent Gross falling to the ground. He said he was shot once in his neck, and the bullet exited through his back.
If one had a rifle why were they yelling "get to the rifles"? The guy who was "shot in the neck" was only in the hospital for 3 hours before being released so it seems he was shot in the neck much like how Trump was shot in the ear.
But the judge, a Trump appointed one, said the defense wasn't allowed to claim self defense.

Yeah, but what does that have to do with them being antifa or not? This seems like a backdoor to trying to outlaw opposition to fascism which is essentially setting (pro-)fascism as precedent.
Also, I'm getting real tired of LEOs and other "authority" type thugs getting the benefit of the doubt in every scenario which ultimately allows them to be aggressors and escalate things to the point where people feel the need to defend themselves, but then when they do they're labeled terrorists.
The fact that one is essentially forbidden from defending themselves against cops when cops consistently show themselves as the ones starting trouble just shows how bad a place America is in.

While Antifa does not exist as an organization, Merely an idea of anti fascist. The act of carrying automatic weapons and body armour and being part of group that is causing damage to private property is wrong. Full stop. I am not sure if the weapons were all legitimate in the purchase, transport and everything. I do know that the intention is sketchy as f***. We can’t just blame Trump when c*** actions and decisions are made, it legitimizes the position of trumps DOJ. Especially when part of your group is vandalizing property.

>I do know that the intention is sketchy as f***.
A vague sense of sketchy intentions seems like a pretty good threshold for convicting people with terrorism.
