People who grew up in collapsing countries.. what keeps you alive?

spent a few years watching my dad scramble to keep things together when the economy went to shit here and that survival instinct becomes like muscle memory. you start seeing opportunities where other people just see problems. even now when things are stable i still catch myself hoarding parts for my pc builds or stashing away money like the world might end tomorrow the grizzlies taught me something similar actually - even when the season looks doomed you keep grinding because you never know what might turn around

man im sorry to hear that.. i really feel you because im going through the same thing. i actually have alot of energy and i taught myself a skill thats my main income today. i left university because our universities are literally some of the worst in the world with terrible rankings.. and still i try to improve myself every single day and work on getting better income. im supporting my entire family on my own. but there are moments where i just stop and think.. what am i even doing? why is this happening? why did all that energy i had when i was 16 just disappear? why does this place im living in keep draining my energy and my desire to learn and be productive? and i never find an answer.. and i dont even find a way out of any of this

yeah thats true you always try to find something to keep going.. but what do you do when you literally cant leave your collapsing country? like theres no way out, no visa no options. you just sit there watching everything fall apart and you cant do anything about it

yeah you're right finding money is the best thing to do right now.. and i am working on that already. but even making money is not that simple for us.. i work online but i dont even get paid a quarter of what someone from that country would get for the same exact job just because of my nationality. like my passport literally makes me worth less. and even if i save enough to travel i cant leave.. no country accepts our passport. nobody wants us. so yeah im stuck here making money that barely counts with nowhere to go lol. but thanks i appreciate it
