These people hold the belief that the division is a one way door where church can influence/affect the state, but the state cannot/should not affect the church.
Except when it can in cases like Islam, atheists or any of the “incorrect” religions.
So basically more Calvinball legal beliefs that are ultimately meaningless.

The thing that always gets me is; If we’re to be a Christian nation, which denomination? There are over 200 established denominations in the US and tens of thousands globally, all because groups can’t even agree amongst themselves as to what the scriptures even mean. So which denomination gets to set the laws? Every Christian denomination in this country needs to realize that allowing this will ensure that 199 out of 200 could very well be very upset by the answer. The Catholics make up the largest single denomination, and they’re already finding out.
4

They don’t know because they don’t even understand their own faith. As we’ve seen with Hegseth, as we’ve seen with several GOP-MAGA politicians this week, as we’ve seen with Johnson, Homan and Trump, it’s whatever they feel that can use to control their “flock”.
