They'll throw their lot with the CCP but when shit hits the fan for them, they'll run to a Western country that they criticize so much. I.e. the wanted former Duterte Spokesman Harry Roque, who was vocal against the "the West" immediately went into hiding/seeking asylum in Western European countries(like Netherlands and Austria) because he's now wanted here. Other example is Robin Padilla, an infamous Senator, is also vocally pro-CCP and keeps criticizing the US/"West"(and a horn dog) but is/was a huge Trump fanboy and is even still pissed he didn't get his US Visa.
