Pi-hole: blocking ads at the network level

Posted by jimbobb

A Raspberry Pi Zero 2W running Pi-hole acts as a DNS sinkhole for my entire home network. All devices benefit including smart TVs, phones, and IoT devices. Blocks about 30% of all DNS queries on my network which are ads, trackers, and telemetry. Setup takes one afternoon and costs under $20.
