Pluribus / The main character adapts to the situation very quickly.

Haven't finished the show yet (Watching E4) but Shouldn't be there at least 2 episodes of psychological crashout?

Does she not drink till she blacks out in like the first or second episode?

Yeah, and people complained that the story wasn’t moving fast enough. Like who wouldn’t go on a bender with the fact that you’re one of the last few remaining autonomous people on earth looming over you. Those who don’t are just in denial.

> story wasn’t moving fast enough This bugs me because it implies the only purpose of the story is to find a solution for the problem.

She's drinking heavily in almost every episode

Yeah that was more like self-medicating than actual psychological breakdown though, she bounced back way too fast for someone in that situation

Really? She resisted them so long that they left the entire f****** state she was living in.

"she bounced back way too fast for someone in that situation" Firstly, she NEVER bounced back and secondly people are different. Some people just bottle it up and drink some and some are more... outwards acting.

She spends the entire time you’ve seen her on screen basically blackout drunk.

>Shouldn't be there at least 2 episodes of psychological crashout? There should, but Gilligan threw in 7 more as a bargain. In other words, the whole season is one long psychological crash-out, as will be made increasingly clear.

This is the first time I've seen someone advocate for this story moving even slower than it did, and I say that as someone that really likes the show.

it would be a long time before i would be upset at the situation - i was wondering though which would be the worse prison - getting Pluribused or getting Groundhog Dayed - or which would drive you crazy faster

> Groundhog Dayed On a different take of the repeating-day premise, I was hoping to rewatch an old one-season show, *Day Break* (2006) (Taye Diggs, Moon Bloodgood); but it has been unavailable in US streaming since it last disappeared from Hulu long ago, and now that show is almost too "dated" and my interest has waned...

Palm Springs was pretty good as well

I feel like she is crashing out during the entire season. Like the entire show is this one character constantly crashing out.

She is suffering the whole season dude.

Yes, but if this happened to any of us in real life we’d just be shouting the f word a hundred times a minute and running around in circles, figuratively and literally. That doesn’t really make for compelling TV. I already get a headache from the shouting and cursing on The Bear, we don’t need that here.

I mean do you want spoilers? Because it sounds like you're asking for spoilers
