Surely this should read "arson attack at planned muslim community centre" given that it hasn't been an active synagogue in years and plans are under way for that conversion by a group who had already put the money down to take over the disused building?

There are... 5 (according to google maps) open synagogues within \~7 blocks of the closed synagogue.
