Some people like driving for the thrill and speed of it. Combined with intoxicants because its additional stimulation makes a bad combo. Also the “I’m untouchable so I can do what I want” mindset.

Sir, I will, without shame, upvote every person that makes a comment referencing that line.  Because that interaction, even though weve never seen the video until now, is objectively one of the funniest things ever in terms of celebrity DUIs.  Imagine, in your own mind, youre a global pop star about to embark on a world tour. You get pulled over after youve been drinking. And youre panicking about your life, your family, your career.  And you get greeted by some young cop, who has no sweet f****** clue who you are, and your hubris is just like "my life is in the toilet now, I'm about to tour across continents".   And hes like... what tour? 10/10. No notes.

I’ve seen roadside tests before and they SHOULD ask if you have any medical conditions that prevent you from performing. They’ll do the other ones

Can you not just request the breathalyser from the get go? Why waste time with all the walking in a line and balancing rigmarole when they have access to a dispositive test that takes 15 seconds?

He is a huge a****** for driving totally wasted but he never pulled any "do you know who I am". If anything he seemed to try his best to avoid doing that.

He did not say do you know who I am. He just eventually had to come out and say his name because the cop was obviously a dumb f***.

Every state has their own laws but generally refusing breathalyzer and/or blood test has automatic most severe penalties. I recall Timberlake having a very easy sentence by agreeing to do public speaking events against drunk driving as form of community service and that was basically it (any fines as and license suspense would be inconsequential to him in reality). Severity of penalties vary by state.

Not sure if he is actually annoyed at it. Seems more like he is super drunk and failing at basic thinking. Like I once chatted with a guy in Germany who was born in Jamaica, but he could not remember the name of the country he was born in due to being so drunk he said "Marley" when trying to explain. Driving when that drunk is f****** insane, but if not this would just have been a funny video.
