There is no loyalty to question. US wouldn't give a shit
125
AggravatingYou281 23 hr ago +9
And it's historic, not just Trump
9
EyeStabber 23 hr ago +5
Can't argue with that.

ReddFro 22 hr ago
I mean Americans would give a lot of shits, but Trump? His loyalty is nonexistent really, but the closest thing he has will shift regularly depending on where he can make the most money, who preens his feathers the most, and who has leverage on him.

EdiblePeasant 16 hr ago +3
You mention the preening of feathers, but I have some doubts it’s the same for everyone who does it.
3
ReddFro 16 hr ago +1
Agreed. He’s partial to compliments from powerful uuh… melanin deficient people I guess you could say.
1
EdiblePeasant 15 hr ago +2
Or very specific, certain people and nations who he may admire contrary to what has historically occurred. I just hope we see some change for the good. I keep examining, reflecting, and maybe even obsessing over certain things and am seeing shallowness. Weak vs strong, celebrity, fame, fortune, power…I want something different and better. What people may have asked for doesn’t seem to be working.
2
ReddFro 13 hr ago +1
Yes, I hear you. Try not to obsess, do something constructive about it or move on - for your mental health.

The way Trump handled the invasion of Ukraine should have already made Europe realize who he is loyal to
234
niceufo777 1 day ago -49
Well, and it should also demonstrate how slow and inactive the European Union is. It's getting worse every time.

The US has done f*** all the last year and a half. Meanwhile, arms purchased by the EU from the US are now being audited by Finland because there's evidence that the US may not have even sent them. The US under Trump is pitiful at this point
52
KesMonkey 23 hr ago +20
The EU has been providing aid (military, financial, and non-lethal equipment) to Ukraine since 2014. From January '22 to August '25, [the EU provided more aid to Ukraine than the US](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/crew8y7pwd5o) (~$202 billion vs ~$131 billion). And if the UK is taken into consideration (the UK is in Europe, but not a member of the EU), that gap widens even further. Anti-tank missiles (over 5,000 NLAWs) donated to Ukraine by the UK prior to the Russian invasion played a critical role in Ukraine defeating Russia in the Battle of Kiev.

The EU is an economic alliance dumbarse

Hey Remember that time the US rolled out the red carpet for Putin. But shit all over Zelensky. Did Europe even say thank you?

Trump isn't even loyal to america
67
ReddFro 22 hr ago +4
This is the real truth. He has a short memory and attention span and cares only about what gives him pleasure or pain. Everything else is in service to that.

that has nothing to do with whether US would defend nato countries as it's obligated to do

There is no more US loyalty. Let's wake up and become stronger.

Nah I think the usd is gonna collapse quick quickly

… would assume we’re past the point of just questioning that, though.

Not in Poland, unfortunately. We are lagging in building distrust in the US. It's ripe now for questioning the friendship, but it's not a general distrust yet. A lot of people still believe that US will come save Poland specifically, and not use us as a bargaining chip like after the war. Especially among the older demographics, who rose salivating over the American dream, and fanboying Reagan.
21
Ragnarawr 1 day ago +8
Which part of Poland you in? The poles I know have no faith in America, and aren’t dumb to believe they wouldn’t be US pawns to a Russian pawn like Trump.
8
Four_beastlings 1 day ago +2
I have met Trump fans in Poland, and more than one.
2
Nuclear-Jester 1 day ago +25
I just want remind everyone that already in 2016 Trump complained about Article 5 of NATO and openly stated the US shuldn't defend the baltics against a Russian attack Call me paranoid, but i think the EU should really work on having its own nuclear arsenal

GreatGojira 1 day ago +27
Trump is Putin's b**** and so are the Republicans. As an American all our real allies need to realize this. Trump would pick sucking on Putin's toes before he would lift a finger

Putin = Bubba.

Look at the Hegseth Signal chat.  Vance, Hegseth, and others on it say they are done with protecting Europe.
12
Significant_Okra_625 1 day ago +8
It's that simple: we don't trust the Americans.
8
Ragnarawr 1 day ago +9
Good on Poland for not ass kissing that tyrannical clown.
9
jimgogek 1 day ago +7
The only good thing from the trump/monty pythonish nightmare is that Europe becomes more unified and stronger militarily. And i hope that includes the UK.
7
Jake-of-the-Sands 1 day ago +4
There are too many Putin's/Trump lapdogs among our politicians unfortunately that hinder any unification at all times. And they actively try to destroy EU.
4
Aedeus 1 day ago +6
As an American, he's 110% correct here. Even if Dems win the midterms and the Presidency, we are still a completely unreliable "ally" until we've completely cleaned house, have held these people accountable and implemented measures and laws to prevent this shit from happening again.
6
CupUpper9869 1 day ago +9
Can really blame them in the current climate

Trump would probably invade Greenland 'to protect it from Russia' and claim they have done their duty.
8
Misfiring 1 day ago -9
That is a given regardless of presidents. In the event of a Europe world war, the first step the US will take is always to secure their own flank, which is Greenland.
-9
LevoiHook 1 day ago +9
The US used to have many basis on Greenland. There was never a need to invade it, until Trump got that in his rapist brain.
9
Mutchmore 1 day ago +4
By...invading an ally that grants your literally unlimited access as if it was yours? You're cooked bro
4
isthereadrwho 1 day ago +3
And you should in my humble opinion
3
fheathyr 1 day ago +3
Trump sees the world in one and only one way ... I win, you lose. Trump will only honor NATO commitments if there's something in it for him (and let's be clear, by "him" I mean Donald Trump ... the American people are at best an annoyance to him). I personally think it quite likely that Trump is encouraging Putin to attack a NATO country in eastern europe, and planning to blackmale that country ... billions for Trump ... American support for that NATO country ... more cost and deaths for American familiies is of no consequence to him.
3
TheGoalkeeper 1 day ago +4
Everyone does, let's be real.
4
dizzley 1 day ago +5
I think the US wouldn't help a European nation under attack because someone's butthurt about lack of support for their illegal Iran war.
5
Plaineswalker 1 day ago +2
You shouldn't even question it. You see exactly what we will do if Russia invades Poland. It will be the same response that Ukraine has received in the past 18 months.... Nothing.
2
Citizen-Kang 22 hr ago +2
Just "questions"? He hasn't been paying attention if he's still in the "questions" phase... I'm a US citizen and I have serious doubts we would honor Article 5 especially if the aggressor was Russia, India, China, Israel, etc., etc.,.. I even have doubts if Trump would send in the military if one of those countries attacked California.

Only_Jackfruit_6905 1 day ago +6
Good thing is russia doesn’t have the capacity to attack nato countries, they can’t do shit to ukraine
6
Nuclear-Jester 1 day ago +9
You have seen what the Russian army does to the occupied Ukrainian territories. Immagine the same shit in Estonia or Latvia It is less fear of Russia winning and more of its soldiers raping and butchering God knows how many people
9
Only_Jackfruit_6905 1 day ago +2
The only reason Ukraine hasn’t won yet is because of amount of soldiers, European part of nato has enough soldiers to fight back putin, and putin doesn’t have enough to fight them either
2
NiFiGaS 1 day ago +9
Trump can help them with capacity.
9
Defiant-Peace-493 1 day ago +1
What does Russia believe the outcome of a European nuclear war would be, if the US sat out?
1
So_Not_theNSA 1 day ago +5
Not a good one? Do you think the Brits and the French have no second strike capability?
5
Defiant-Peace-493 1 day ago +2
UK has missile subs, and France stores some warheads on their carrier even if any land-based ones are hit. But we've seen Russia overestimate their abilities before. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if someone were telling their leadership that they could sink the subs and shoot down the cruise missles.
2
CarRamRob 1 day ago +2
The question would be more would they use it for say an incursion to the Baltics. Or even deploy forces if the Baltics fell within 2 weeks or something. People trash the Russians for their advance into Ukraine, but that was a skilled and prepared Ukrainian Army. I’m not sure the Baltics would be as strong. Aka do we see another UK/France 1938 response? Or their 1939 response?
2
Boys4Ever 1 day ago +4
NATO should no longer assume we have their back and perhaps best for them because it does seem they always operated as if we did and perhaps now continue to spend and cover their own back. Might want to rush Ukraine in because they've shown they know how to have their own backs.

USA is gone we need to stand up and united and reclaim our European military bases from the Americans
4
VBChristina2000 1 day ago +4
I question Trumpet loyalty if the US gets attacked.

Trump broke trust. Very hard to fix trust when you think in four years Americans can elect another trust breaker.

PussyPusLicker 1 day ago +1
Question? Isn't the US trying to invade Europe answer enough? How many nukes we need to glass the US and Russia is the only question we need to pose. MAD is the only language Americans and Russians understand.
1
The_mingthing 1 day ago +1
I can quickly clear up any questions: Trump wont.

I mean we all know the answer...

The majority in the US, presumably even among Republicans, would likely be on our side. However, it's still questionable whether they would help us as long as that orange madman is in the White House.

niceufo777 1 day ago -7
Well, European loyalty is already at rock bottom, but hey, they're the good guys of the universe.
-7
neverpost4 1 day ago -15
Poland should be questioning whether they can rely on France or England in case if nuclear war. Poland and all the nations should be doing the North Korea. The equation was changed.
-15
Leather-Map-8138 1 day ago -17
Don’t question America’s loyalty. But absolutely question Trump’s competence.

Americans elected the Orange fat f***, with a majority. A second time.
