Oh, the GOP is absolutely stunned that Pope Leo says God rejects the prayers of leaders who wage wars. JD Vance and the rest of the party act like they just discovered the Bible has a “thou shalt not kill” chapter. They spend years pushing bombs, borders, and brutal crackdowns while pretending their faith is a bumper sticker, then act shocked when the Pope says God isn’t impressed by their fake religion. If they really cared about prayer, maybe they’d try ruling like their souls depended on it instead of just their next deposit in their bank accounts.
