Does anyone think that this movie would look good on a dome if it wasn't shot that way? Worried that It could be distorted? Why not drive to Jordan’s furniture? It was great in the imax. I would not recommend watching it on a dome though it doesn’t seem like it would work well for that.

I watched a space documentary on a dome screen with the nieces and nephews last holiday season. It's not good. The kids won't know any better so that's fine, but for all you know you'll wind up watching sideways and slanted and none of the lines are straight.

Its not made for a curved screen so expect it to be distorted. Just go to a normal IMAX theater.

i think it could be sick on a dome if done right, but yeah, distortion's a real possibility if it wasn't shot for that format. maybe check out some previews or similar dome films for a better idea?
