Of all the things the vast majority of the American public cannot be bothered to give a f*** about, the health of our planet and our collective ability to exist longterm on it seems to be the thing the vast majority of the America public cannot be bothered to give a f*** about the most. Blame Trump all you want if it makes you feel better. Between GOP voters, non-voters, and third party voters, 70% of our free-willed grown-ass adult public couldn’t have been more clear that they do not give a f*** about respecting science and our continued ability to survive on planet earth. This is exactly what they signed up for. If they didn’t know, they should have.

The article says almost 100k scientists have left since last year… that’s not something a Dem president can just wish back into existence. This is not good at all and we will be paying the price for this for decades.

If they cannot understand or learn why something should be important to them, it will never resonate with Trump supporters. If it hurts their head to read a Wikipedia article about scientific solutions to real world problems they won't do it. This is of course why they support Trump. He makes them not wanting to learn, grow or evolve ok. He justifies ignorance and hate which is - sorry to say - many many Americans.
