Haven’t the last few body exchanges been like 1000 to 1 in favor of Russia?

(Because Russia doesn’t care if they get their bodies back)

Really puts the Bloomberg publication into focus, as it was published when oil was close to 100$. It is a big club and you ain't in it.

Putin running out of time. If I were him I'd watch more my back, he can't stop making enemies inside Russia.

Ukraine will not budge. Giving up territory is unconstitutional.

Not to mention giving up the best defensive lines that russia has been trying to get since 2014. Oh and imagine the cost for russia of trying to take a major urban center like kramatorsk. Not including the occupied territories pre-2022, the only cities of that size russia has taken is Mariupol (at huge human cost) and Melitpol. Both of these cities were right on their door step, and their occupation came early when Ukraine was not nearly as built up militarily. No, Ukraine isn't going to give this up for free. It's very clear to everybody that trump and vance are not neutral parties trying to get a deal done, they are working with russia and openly prefer the dictators to democracies.

A big problem is that Russia isn't willing to give anything up to get what they want. For example, offering all other occupied areas (such as Zaphorizhie) in exchange for the remainder of Donbass would actually be a diplomatic offer. But no, they're just hoping Krasnov hands it to them for free. That's not diplomacy, that's just pathetic.

They took Kherson too, but that didn't last very long

Someone should tell Putin the "heavy losses" part is a feature, not a bug.
