That film has some legendary trivia...
Raul Julia's final film role. The one and only reason he took it was because his kids loved the game and wanted to see their dad in the film version of it. Julia knew well enough to dial his campiness setting to maximum.
Jean-Claude Van Damme snorted the movie's entire budget up his nose. When he wasn't doing coke, he and Kylie Minogue were banging in their trailers. I wonder if Van Damme even remembers there was a movie in progress.

There was this Chun Li Street Fighter movie that was ass but Bison said something like "give a prisoner the world to view and they will only see the bars to their cage" and I always liked that.

I wouldn't call Age of Ultron trash, fairly okay movie, but the Vision and Ultron dialog at the end really stuck with me.

which hit me in such away it’s honestly been life changing. I look at everything that way now. Instead of trying to brute force my way through life if I need to do something I google it and just follow the instructions. It has made my life so much easier.

Probably explains why I'm constantly cleaning up messes created by people who have no idea how things work and thought they could just YouTube it. Why actually learn about anything, just copy what someone else did. In fact, why learn how to read all? Just watch a video that most likely skips over a bunch of important steps.
I'm constantly running into situations where I have to figure out how things work or come up with a novel solution for a nonstandard problem. Where does monkey see, monkey do get you? It's as if logical reasoning has no value to some people.

I’m perfectly capable of problem solving. I make my living as a prop maker and set designer. But I’ve also learned I don’t need to reinvent the wheel every time I want to do something.
I’ll give you a great example the other day I needed to fixture a part for a prop in the mill. It was a commissioned prop by a cosplayer for a TMNT shredder costume. Part of his gauntlet. and the cosplayer wants the claws to retract and also fire out (kinda like predator).
instead of banging my head against the wall for three hours trying to get this odd part lined up. I did some googling found a solution I didn’t know about and used that. I saved myself hours of work and headache just by stopping admitting I don’t know everything and taking the time to learn.
I stopped read the book and followed the instructions. That’s the entire heart of that quote. Sam was humble enough to admit he didn’t know what he was doing but trusted that the man who wrote the instructions did. It’s about humility not monkey see monkey do.

that quote is surprisingly deep for a movie like that. one of my faves from a "trash" movie is from 'the room': "you're tearing me apart, lisa!" it's just so over the top, but it really gets you.
