The Breadcrumb Bureau: Series Summary Genre: Light-Hearted Supernatural Comedy / Police Procedural The Duo: An immortal, omniscient Diva and a cynical, retirement-ready Detective. The Core Conflict Adam Savoir is an immortal God of Knowledge who is bored with eternity. He has decided to "star" in his own gritty, human detective drama. He knows the solution to every crime instantly, but to keep the "show" going, he has to reverse-engineer logical, human-sounding explanations for his cosmic knowledge. His antagonist is Lilith Lucas, a petty Goddess of Mischief who treats the world like her personal soccer field. She uses "Fate Kicks" to knock crucial evidence into the most inconvenient "Strange Places" (frozen turkeys, diaper bags, moving buses) just to ruin Adam’s dramatic "big scenes" and force him to look like a fool in front of his partner. The Main Cast | Character | The "Role" | The Motivation | |---|---|---| | Adam Savoir | The Lead Actor | Wants to be the "Greatest Detective in History." He wears a trench coat in summer for the "aesthetic" and claims his omniscience is just "extreme botany" or "advanced physics." | | Detective Miller | The Tired Partner | A 60-year-old cop with a ticker on his wall counting down to retirement. He ignores Adam's "magic" (calling it "springy shoes" or "glitches") just to keep his 100% clearance rate and his pension. | | Lilith Lucas | The Saboteur | Invisible to Miller. She wants to prove Adam is just a "divine snob" by forcing him to break character, trip, sweat, and act like a messy, frustrated human. | Key Comedic Engines \* The "Logic-Stretching": Adam desperately trying to explain why he knows a murder weapon is inside a bowling trophy. \* Adam: "The... uh... resonant frequency of the trophy suggests it contains a high-density carbon steel blade, Miller. It’s a hobby of mine. Metallurgy." \* The Divine Lawsuit: Adam is secretly building a case against Lilith for the Divine Council. He’s trying to prove she’s violating the "Non-Intervention Act" by documenting her "Fate Kicks" as "Supernatural Forensics." \* The Scripted Office: Adam’s "Curatorium" is a chairless apartment filled with Whiteboards where he storyboards arrests to ensure they look "cinematic" and "properly paced." \* Selective Blindness: Miller’s refusal to acknowledge anything supernatural. If Adam hovers, Miller assumes it's a "strong updraft." If a bus teleports, Miller blames "bad city planning." The Show's Vibe It’s a high-speed "Odd Couple" dynamic where the stakes are cosmic but the frustrations are hilariously petty. Adam wants a standing ovation; Miller just wants to go fishing. The Slogan: "He has all the answers, but none of the excuses."
