Really confused and need help

I 23m have been talking to a girl 23f. I asked her if she might want to go on a date sometime to which she replied that she would love to. Here is the problem I am facing: We will Snapchat back and forth to each other with snaps coming in every 5-15 minutes. Then sometimes she just stops snapping me. 1-3 hours will go by and she will just start snapping me every 5-15 minutes again. The problem with that is that she has her snap map on so I can see her location and it says she is active in the 1-3 hour window where I don’t get a snap. This is super frustrating to me because of past relationships I have had to where I have been cheated on and it has messed with me mentally for years. I just don’t want to be hurt again. I really really like this girl and want to give it a real shot as I have been super picky about women since my last relationship. Am I just over reacting, is she busy, or do we think she might be talking to another guy. My brain always picks the worst thing possible and I hate it. I have done some research but have seen 50/50 of people saying leave or people saying it’s not that big of a deal. Please help!
