I worked in film for 4 years in NYC, working with folks of all fame levels. The tie for rudest was between Rebel Wilson and Donnie Wahlberg

MachetteBagels Apr 20, 2026 +237
Rebel showed up 5 hours late to a shoot she was principal on, leaving most of the crew scrambling around pouring rain. When she got there, she was extremely rude to the crew, refusing to even acknowledge anyone but the director, being rude to her fellow actors. She stormed off set, leaving us waiting around for another 2 hours until she could be coaxed back out. Very much the epitome of Diva. Donnie, on the other hand, is just a f****** dirtbag. Worked with him a few times, I’ve never seen someone mock and berate crew quite like him. Insane to see such an ego on the less famous brother from a family. On a lighter note, the two most professional, kindest actors I’ve worked with were Jon Bernthal and Giancarlo Esposito. Makes me firmly believe that if you only ever play an a******, you’re most likely a big softy

mc_grizzly Apr 20, 2026 +75
I don’t doubt that about Giancarlo. He’s the only celebrity I got to meet in person and I can easily see why he has such a good reputation.

Once in NYC, I saw Denzel Washington across the street and yelled hello. He had just left the theater where was staring in Julius Cesar, facing down a literal mob of embonpoint black women, but he still made eye contact and gave me an exaggerated wink. I would die for him now.
88
Cutsdeep- Apr 21, 2026 +16
 word of the day: Embonpoint
16
That_wrench_wench Apr 21, 2026 +11
New goal of the week: use Embonpoint in a sentence
11
Cutsdeep- Apr 21, 2026 +10
does the p****** search bar count?
10
That_wrench_wench Apr 21, 2026 +6
Oh…. Well never mind. Goal met already

Shamanduh Apr 21, 2026 +7
Haha, I worked on that production! Got to meet Denzel, as was his way, the day before opening, or the last day of opening, forget which, the producer told us Denzel requested to meet us all and had us line up to each get to shake his hand. All I can say is I made him laugh, what I said I’ll never remember, but do remember he was charming to a default, easy smile and overall just a warm guy. This was like over 20 years ago.
7
Dahcchad Apr 21, 2026 +3
God, dont remind me how long ago that was. I went to NYC once a month for 4 years to see a show (you'd have thought Id realized I was gay, but that took a bit longer). That time I had desperately wanted to see Julius Cesar but ended up at Dirty Rotton Scoundrels instead. I did get to meet Jon Lithgow, though, after the show.

Dude's literally been in my house before. He felt very grandfatherly.
27
bakedpigeon Apr 21, 2026 +4
I need the story now!!
4
Dr_Pants91 Apr 21, 2026 +13
Not really much of a story. He knows my roommate, was in town and came by the house to pick her up for dinner. I only met him for a couple minutes and got a quick picture. [pic](https://imgur.com/a/hjv8jNZ)

RagingGrizzly60 Apr 20, 2026 +14
I read that at one point he was suicidal.
14
ehtw376 Apr 20, 2026 +23
Too lazy to double check so take with a grain of salt - but yeah I believe he said that, due to lack of career opportunities and monetary problems…. And then he booked Breaking Bad.
23
RagingGrizzly60 Apr 20, 2026 +6
You're right.
6
LargeWilliam Apr 20, 2026 +34
My aunt worked wardrobe with Giancarlo on Breaking Bad. She said he was the coolest.
34
FuriousBlade3 Apr 20, 2026 +13
Nice to hear that Jon and Giancarlo are such nice guys. From what they play you wouldn't have guessed it lol.
13
2_hotty Apr 20, 2026 +11
Answered my next question, who was the coolest! lol Good stuff, thanks.
11
MachetteBagels Apr 20, 2026 +59
So it’s close, but I’d give it to Jon Bernthal. Got to work with him on the Netflix Daredevil S2. I remember it was an action sequence day when he was shooting up a hospital. He was acting like a cold killer, but the second we went to lunch, he spent the entirety of lunch going around to every table thanking everyone for the hard work they were doing. It was a 14 hour slog of a day, but his kind words def made things easier. I’ve never seen another principal actor go around and personally thank folks like that.
59
PenguinZombie321 Apr 20, 2026 +12
Esposito was interviewed by the Cinema Therapy guys years back and that just made me respect him so much more
12
DookieKong Apr 20, 2026 +17
I will always +1 a Jon Bernthal shoutout. Based on the characters he plays it feels like it would be safe to assume he’s a dirtbag, but dude is an absolute gentleman. Had interaction with him back in Walking Dead days and the day he came on our show he literally went around and thanked everyone on set before he left from producer to intern
17
JJay9454 Apr 21, 2026 +7
He wasn't necessarily standout nice or rude when I saw him on set, but he did not shut up about conspiracy theories. It was fun at first and quickly became "pretend you can't talk for some reason" whenever he was near
7
Silly-Elderberry-411 Apr 20, 2026 +5
So in isn't it romantic her saying I chose me wasn't even in the script, the union crew quit the cameras just kept rolling and they left it in the movie?
5
DuhBegski Apr 21, 2026 +6
Henry Zebrowski from Last Podcast was just talking about how Donnie would regularly tickle him between takes, jump on his back and ride him around while calling him big fat boy. Also said he'd kick these female mannequins in the crotch and yell "I kick you in the p****!"
6
l33tfuzzbox Apr 21, 2026 +2
I loved it when he told this story. Rare time Henry got real with it on Lpotl
2
Youthsonic Apr 20, 2026 +5
Damn that sucks, between Saw 2-3, Dead Silence and the sixth sense Donnie was my favorite Wahlberg.
5
InformalRent2571 Apr 20, 2026 +7
You have a favorite Wahlberg? If I were forced, I would go with the one that makes burgers.
7
ElephantParticular10 Apr 20, 2026 +3
Sgt Lipton was excellent and now ruined.
3
a-rooster-illusion Apr 20, 2026 +7
For the record I worked Blue Bloods season 1 and 2 and couldn’t have a more opposite view of Donnie. The longer run shows have softball teams that production crew plays in on weekends. No actors actually play. Donnie played lead off. Showed up most weeks, and was super nice to be around. Also had crew put NKOTB fans in his personal trailer during a rain storm.
7
Molnek Apr 20, 2026 +4
Heh, guy I used to work with had an altercation with Donnie when New kids were opening for Tiffany at the amusement park he worked at as a teen. He was just a huge d*** and did nothing worse than shoulder him a bit. He had to ask his little sister who they were and when he told her what happened she replied "Well, he's the bad boy in the group."
4
s_matthew Apr 20, 2026 +6
I always figured Donnie kind of had his tail between his legs. This is fascinating, if not completely predictable and understandable that a guy from a family where his younger brother with a criminal record and who beat the living hell out of a Vietnamese man while calling him racial slurs ended up having the much bigger career. Wonder what their parents are like?!
6
cjyoung92 Apr 20, 2026 +7
>On a lighter note, the two most professional, kindest actors I’ve worked with were Jon Bernthal and Giancarlo Esposito.  This makes me happy!
7
paulthefonz Apr 21, 2026 +4
Awe damn, had a pleasant interaction with him on Boston blue, was hoping he was normal
4
a-rooster-illusion Apr 20, 2026 +8
Worked in NYC production for years as well. Including Blue Bloods season 2 and 3. In my experience Donnie is one of the absolute nicest guys I’ve ever met. Completely different from your experience.
8
ScreamingChicken Apr 21, 2026 +4
I worked post on a show of his. And the producers said the same thing, that he was a sweetheart.
4
thatbiguy3000 Apr 20, 2026 +891
I tried my best to figure out what’s happening, and it just sounds like Rebel Wilson is a miserable creature who needs to hoist her misery on others.
891
lifegoeson5322 Apr 20, 2026 +90
Hope she loses her court case
90
niceandmeanboth Apr 20, 2026 +118
Hoist. It works. Did you mean “foist”?
118

Also "moist".

DaikonLatter6851 Apr 20, 2026 +26

Projectile vomiting incoming.
7
Due-Joke-1152 Apr 20, 2026 +12
Foisting is for small amounts of misery, hoisting is for substantial misery and increases the splash damage.
12
Jonn_Jonzz_Manhunter Apr 20, 2026 +7
Hoist, I take to mean to lift, or throw, or raise "Hoist the colours!" Kinda thing, so in this context it means "to give others her own misery"
7
plutoforprez Apr 20, 2026 +27
Did you see the big multi page story she posted about a month ago bitching and moaning that the European oligarch who funded this film didn’t seem to give a f*** when she complained about the workers in this lawsuit? Cry me a river, who would’ve thought the shady war profiteer wouldn’t help?
27
BornFree2018 Apr 20, 2026 +25
To clarify, she mad that the oligarch didn't take her side in this dispute. Instead he backed the production team whom Wilson has multiple legal disputes with. She claims they accused her of being a bully and launching a PR smear campaign against them. It's actually kind of humorous how RW elevated this alleged situation (which didn't really have anything to do with her) into multiple lawsuits and the loss of her reputation..
25
thatbiguy3000 Apr 20, 2026 +3
This is the first I heard about that.
3
Paddlesons Apr 20, 2026 +19
She kind of always gave off that vibe to me.

But remember when she gave us that banger in Cats? https://youtu.be/t7Uei5Qk9RM?si=wiK8IrqNmKkZj24e
6
HutSutRawlson Apr 20, 2026 +17
It takes a special kind of un-talent to be the worst thing in *Cats*.
17
NashKetchum777 Apr 21, 2026 +8
...I thought that was James...Corden.? Is that his name?
8
HutSutRawlson Apr 21, 2026 +6
It's a race to the bottom between those two. But I would say Rebel shat the bed harder because her number is actually one that has the potential to be good/entertaining when done by a decent performer. Bustopher Jones is a dumb, schlocky song, just bad writing by Weber. No one was going to do well with that material.
6
shrimp_beginner Apr 21, 2026 +3
The words in Cats are by TS Elliot, Weber wrote the music.
3
Ok-Investigator-7132 Apr 21, 2026 +5
I can’t believe that movie is real
5
futuredrweknowdis Apr 21, 2026 +4
Her scene almost made me walk out of the theater for the sake of my mental health, because I honestly felt like I had lost my mind a couple of times.
4
whisky_biscuit Apr 21, 2026 +3
I watched it one year while wrapping Xmas gifts. It was so bad it ruined my Xmas. Even Santa refused to visit my house and my cat divorced me.

YOU HAVE WRONGED ME BY MAKING ME CLICK THAT OUT OF CURIOSITY
2
SuperSaiyanTupac Apr 20, 2026 +7
She was funny. Then she lost weight, and decided feeling good about herself wasn’t enough. She needed other people to feel good about her too.
7
nigelst Apr 20, 2026 +71
I've been working as an IATSE local 600 camera assistant for 30 years on scripted film and TV projects and this woman is by far the vilest person I have ever had to work with.
71
Actual_Banana4833 Apr 20, 2026 +18
Ohhhhh, say more.
18
nigelst Apr 21, 2026 +33
Okay :) I was pulling focus on a multi-camera sitcom pilot where she was the star. There was one scene where she was alone with four cameras shooting. She insisted that the operators and assistants be blacked out with flags and duvatene while we were rolling. Made it ridiculously difficult for all of us well seasoned professionals to do our job. That’s all. It was enough for me to remember her as the worst person in front of or behind the camera ever :(.
33
Actual_Banana4833 Apr 21, 2026 +8
That is so stupid! I'm embarrassed for her.
8
HereComesMyNeck Apr 21, 2026 +8
Maybe she could have tried acting like you weren't there. Like what deep emotional well was she tapping into for a f****** sitcom that she couldn't perform with camera operators visible.
8
copyrider Apr 20, 2026 +244
I bet a reality show called “Bullies” would be a huge hit, putting people like Rebel, Ellen, Jonah Hill, and James Cordin in a house together to see who gets kicked out of Hollywood.
244
illradhab Apr 20, 2026 +99
This is absolute gold. Get Lea Michele to host and read gossip to them over speakers á la Big Brother.
99
arieadil Apr 20, 2026 +89
Lea reading?
89
psychedelicparsley Apr 21, 2026 +12
Why wouldn’t Lea Michele be in the house too?
12
VivaZeBull Apr 21, 2026 +3
Less relevance unless you’re into broadway?
3
PitifulElk1890 Apr 20, 2026 +17
The grand prize is promising them public redemption. This isn't concrete at all but they're all so desperate for it, its hardly questioned.

Throw Lena Dunham in there for funsies

Can we just burn the house.

She is a bully. She got my friend fired on the movie Bride Hard for just doing his job. She sucks big.
523
peggysue_82 Apr 20, 2026 +182
That movie sucked so bad! We watched it during a girls night and couldn’t believe how awful it was. The movie felt like it was written by AI.

HandsomeWinner42 Apr 20, 2026 +339
He is a boom operator, he wanted to get in the pool with her to get clean audio, they asked, everyone said it was ok, he got in the pool to be closer for clean audio. She saw it and had him removed immediately from the set and fired. She's the worst.
339
Ill-Elephant-9583 Apr 20, 2026 +272
It's the people who allow this which are also to blame, the producer should have just told her to piss off. He's doing his job which she knows nothing about. If she'd then refused to work she'd be in breach of contract.
272
FullofLovingSpite Apr 20, 2026 +26
That would not work out at all and could possibly tank the whole film. If she walked right then, you need full reshoots after casting someone new. You also need to rebook everyone and every location. It's easier to give in to the assholes like her and simply not work with them again in the future.
26
iamsotiredofthiscrap Apr 20, 2026 +35
This mentality is what is wrong with almost everything in the world today. Shitty, entitled people get a pass because, "we just won't deal with it next time." Horse shit. You allowed it once, you'll allow it again. And the next person will now have to deal with it. You didn't fix or prevent anything, you made it someone else's problem. Have some balls and stand up to people.
35
Kozeyekan_ Apr 21, 2026 +4
This reminds me of that scene from Mr Inbetween. "The world is full of arseholes Ray and you need to realise that" "Yeah and you know why? Cause people let them get away with it"
4
FullofLovingSpite Apr 20, 2026 +14
Ok, but now you won't get to make another movie. You can talk about how things should be all day, I'm just telling you how they are.
14
ScienceOfficer-Jack Apr 20, 2026 +4
While it is not right what is your solution? Tank millions of dollars of completed project?
4
JayKay8787 Apr 20, 2026 +11
Have it in their contract that if they refuse to work they are liable for all expenses. Actors are such pissy babies they should honestly require insurance for this if they are a lead
11
Kozeyekan_ Apr 21, 2026 +3
The thing is though, actors have an amazing union. SAG-AFTRA could blackball anyone trying to impose that. They could still make movies outside of the union influence, but anyone trying to shift to cost of a whole movie onto a single employee would soon be relegated to D-list cast and crew. Ideally, the union would also fight just as hard for the Boom guy, and if they're doing their job, that guy would be made whole anyway (assuming they're a member) but there's every chance they'd prioritise a 'star' over crew. Also, Rebel may be an arsehole, but I do think that it's fine for everyone else to say 'it's probably alright' for the boom guy to get in the water, but she's the one in there while he's holding a live electrical device. If he trips, they get zapped unless there are appropriate safety devices in the setup, which when it's always so ad-hoc, can be missed. No need to get the guy fired at all, but getting him out of the pool if she was worried about being electrocuted is at least a bit understandable.
3
iamsotiredofthiscrap Apr 20, 2026 +6
Literally hold people accountable for their behavior. Like kindergarten.
6
Shigglyboo Apr 20, 2026 +103
I hope your friend is union. Thats some whack shit. Sounds like they were going above and beyond for the job too.
103
Whateva1_2 Apr 20, 2026 +61
Film unions are a bit different as its a union of contractors that take short stints of work. It's very easy to cite creative differences to get someone fired on film sets. The union is more agreements on pay and safety. The job security of other unions doesn't exist in film. Not saying I'm in support of it or not but one good thing about this is that it's not as big of a deal when someone in the union stops giving a shit about their job and they become impossible to fire. They simply build a reputation and won't get hired on the next job.
61
Single_Wrap_74 Apr 20, 2026 +58
What? I’ve worked as a boom operator on a couple of movies. He needed to be in the water? The microphone is on a big ass stick for a reason.
58
ovalteens Apr 20, 2026 +13
Isn’t this an electrocution hazard for both of them?
13
HandsomeWinner42 Apr 20, 2026 +13
It is not, the audio is transmitted wirelessly.
13
cmere-2-me Apr 20, 2026 +7
Yeah this is the only point I would have seen Rebels pov. Even if there was an elotrocution possibility, there is a way to voice your concern that isn't throwing a tantrum and getting someone fired.
7
Cutsdeep- Apr 21, 2026 +3
yeah, this doesn't make heaps of sense
3
oreofro Apr 20, 2026 +30
Theres something missing from this story. The boom operator needed/wanted to be in the water? That doesnt make sense.
30
StraightBudget8799 Apr 21, 2026 +2
Maybe (and I’m not checking the film, saw it once - completely no idea of what it was about, so bland) she was in the deep end and he was in the shallow, to avoid getting in the shot/sound interference?
2
letsgetitstartedha Apr 20, 2026 +50
Someone told me I look like Rebel Wilson about ten years ago and I’m still not over it. One of the meanest things that someone has ever said to me.
50
Feisty-Lifeguard-550 Apr 20, 2026 +6
That’s outrageous 🤯
6
JeepersCreepers74 Apr 21, 2026 +3
At least it was Fat Amy Rebel, who, IMO, is 10x cuter than size 12 posing as size 6 Rebel.
3
darkageis Apr 20, 2026 +95
I want to confirm, because I read that twice and I'm still a little confused. Actress had an issue with a cold water reaction. Producer helped warm them up in a consensual manner. Wilson tried to use it as blackmail against the Producer. Is that right?
95
DeliciousStand372 Apr 20, 2026 +67
Rebel posted a social media post claiming that actress disclosed to her (Rebel) that she (actress) was sexually harassed by the producer. the trial is to sue rebel for defamation from that soc media post. the actress said what rebel posted is not true. rebel is using the “sexual harassment“ to blackmail against BOTH the producer and the actress.
67
darkageis Apr 20, 2026 +11
Ahhh, so I was almost there then. Thanks!
11
ihateusernamesKY Apr 21, 2026 +4
Thank you for so succinctly communicating this. I was also struggling to wrap my head around it.
4
RagingGrizzly60 Apr 20, 2026 +8
The actress may have said it felt uncomfortable, but medically it was the right thing to do.
8
SoullessCycle Apr 21, 2026 +7
Flip it around - producer had the reaction, actress helped. Both in either clothing or bathing suits (I’ve read both). But yes end result: Rebel says actress said harassment, but then says actress changed her story because producer got actress other work. Actress says she said nothing of the sort.
7
yallasama Apr 20, 2026 +225
Not surprised one bit, she’s also just not funny.
225
lostroadrunner22 Apr 20, 2026 +128
Worst part of bridesmaids. Like. Actually takes away from the movie.
128
brejackal99 Apr 20, 2026 +58
I totally forgot she was in Bridesmaids! Yeah they could’ve let Matt Lucas handle that by himself…he could play both parts
58
OhItsBeenBroughten Apr 20, 2026 +30
Idk, I always laugh when she pours the frozen peas over her back.
30
lykathea2 Apr 20, 2026 +6
Worst part of Pain And Gain as well. Her jokes and line deliveries all hit like thuds.
6
streetbutt92 Apr 20, 2026 +6
Also the worst part of pitch perfect
6

Lady Jonah Hill. Bully losers both
144
ThnikkamanBubs Apr 20, 2026 +37
“Her debut The Debut” or is it The Deb? You can’t even decide! “Bridesmaids star…..” oh yeah, like tenth billed in that movie from 15 years ago. This really made me think that Deadline fucked up and thought it was Melissa McCarthy…
37
quatroquatro0 Apr 20, 2026 +160
She lost some weight and now she thinks she can be the bully
160
GossipingKitty Apr 20, 2026 +181
Nah, she's literally always been this way.
181
PeppermintEvilButler Apr 20, 2026 +17
She was always that way even before the weight loss
17

How does this person keep ending up in the spotlight? There must be more deserving and talented people for film roles.
46
StraightBudget8799 Apr 21, 2026 +6
Her memoir sells her as unique. Anyway. Lots of up and coming Australian actors, who will be willing to work - please don’t judge us by one. :/
6
MoreRamenPls Apr 20, 2026 +12
God why does her 15 min of fame seem like decades?
12
PaliDudeBro Apr 20, 2026 +41
She is such a shitty person. Not funny, not interesting, not entertaining. She’s just ugly, inside and out.
41
yetagainitry Apr 20, 2026 +9
Imagine being a C list at best actress and still having the ego to bully people

Will never forget being forced to watch Bride Hard. One of the worst films I've ever seen in my life.

With a name like that I'm surprised it wasn't Oscar worthy.

Just wanna make it clear: Australians don’t claim her. She is not beloved.  Sincerely, an Australian
14
BigxBoy Apr 20, 2026 +6
The only thing I’ve seen her in recently was hosting Last One Laughing Australia, and she has zero charisma, zero energy, and just doesn’t seem like a pleasant person to be around. Wouldn’t be too surprising if the allegations against her are true. She just gives off weird vibes.
6
Stracharys Apr 21, 2026 +7
She was never actually funny, her whole shtick was “loud annoying fat chick.” She lost weight and her career and it trying to maintain any relevance she had. As a loud annoying fat chick, I know on which side my bread is buttered
7
JuniorFondant Apr 20, 2026 +42
Oh look another a****** in Hollywood. Who'da thunk it.
42
B0Bomb Apr 20, 2026 +10
For the longest time, I legit thought that Rebel Wilson was just Matt Lucas’s drag persona. Even got into a whole argument about it because of the Vicky Pollard character.
10

Still not disproved - notice both got thin around the same time?

I feel like between this and the abysmal performance of Bride Hard her career is kinda dead in the water, right? Like- who's going to want to work with her in a professional relationship capacity and who's going to want to bank on her getting eyeballs and ticket sales/streaming numbers?

quietgavin5 Apr 20, 2026 +6
Her directorial debut just tanked at the Australian box office, debuting at number 13 with just $60000. Somehow, despite all the legal troubles, she directed another film with Randall Park and Jennifer Coolidge. I saw her first film The Deb and it's a very well made film so maybe if she stays behind the camera like Mel Gibson then maybe she can survive that way.

The Deb was fine! We certainly can use more Australian content. A pity this kind of thing sinks all attention of the efforts by the original playwright, film crew, actors, etc.

She (allegedly) throws hot coffee at people who work for her.

I’m not even saying this mean - but did she gain all of the weight back she lost? Judging by the pic?

Fool me once on giant celebrity defamation trial, I will reserve my opinion until this is all over

And all this time I thought her only crime was being painfully unfunny

Hey remember when she sexually assaulted Tom Hardy

They starred together in This Means War. Rebel allegedly stuck her finger in Tom Hardy’s bottom.

um... I'm all for b**** play if both parties involved are agreed to it and have cleaned themselves thoroughly lol What she did just sounds like SA, and it's real gross she did that to someone's uncleaned hole. So she's disgusting on numerous levels.

aseddon130 Apr 20, 2026 +4
You mean Grimsby and Sacha Baron Cohen, she wasn’t in ‘This Mean War’

This is the same woman who made herself much younger than she actually was when she came to Hollywood, so it is apparent she'll do anything to get what she wants. There is a reason nobody wants to work with her.

ballawareness Apr 20, 2026 +58
Holy c***. Didn’t know she was 32 during the fist pitch perfect. Aca-believeable!

Useful-Soup8161 Apr 20, 2026 +85
Lying about your age in Hollywood is not an indicator of that. It’s more like a tradition at this point.
85
libra-lamb Apr 20, 2026 +33
So many people have done that in Hollywood idk if that has any indication of being an ahole
33
blinkydinky111 Apr 21, 2026 +3
Lied about her upbringing, her family and even how she came up with "Rebel"

AngelSucked Apr 20, 2026 +3
1. This was proven false 3. If it did happen, so what,

Effective-Warning178 Apr 20, 2026
Whew are you an PR intern for rebel? Lol

Nah, it’s a Hollywood thing to be sure. It’s more a shame on the system. Looking forward to Streep, Kidman and Bullock being on screen soon, rather than “whatever happened to her…?” But the scandal was allegedly the article saying they had a source about “Rebel is actually Melanie!!”, then the source wasn’t so legitimate or something? And it certainly wasn’t news, just snarky jealousy. Ultimately the fines were reduced. Doesn’t excuse this situation or any bad behaviour reported.

Something wrong with that girl.

ZackDeLaRoach Apr 20, 2026 +7
Started her career with a Tropfest film where she/they basically just gender flipped and copied a Big Train skit. Lazy, untalented hack.

I didn't bother reading the story but I assume this is relating to the leaked audio about the smear campaign or whatever.

I loved her in Pizza, the wedge and bogan pride then she got too big for her boots. The fact she lied about her age then sued an old school friend saying she lied turned me off.

Female James Corden.

Hmm… a lot of reports coming out that Rebel Wilson is a bad egg. But, you know, this is starting to feel like one of the PR hit jobs by the sheer amount of posts that are popping up.

I had a bad vibe about her 10 years ago but it was the Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer Rise of the Portly Female Lead era so I was just told I disliked her because of her looks

Any Schumer is portly?

She wasn’t smaller than size 6, so in Hollywood and assholes’ minds, yes.

No just the Amy in particular

Wow that’s so disappointing to hear. She came into a boat I worked on and was actually really really lovely. I guess I will count myself lucky to not have had an incredibly unpleasant experience.
3
tastydrink1 Apr 20, 2026 +3
So her parents named her "rebel" and were supposed to assume they didn't teach her to bully others
3
Disgruntled_Pelicano Apr 20, 2026 +21
They didn’t. Her birth name was Melanie.

XBeCoolManX Apr 21, 2026 +2
This reminds of the tweet that said Fat girl -> fit girl -> mean girl pipeline I feel like this is especially true for celebrities who seem to very suddenly lose a lot of weight. If something like ozempic works for you, great, more power to ya. But when they don't work through their insecurities, they sit there and fester, so they take it as an opportunity to be mean. As someone who has always been rather tiny, especially while growing up as a scrawny kid, I'm telling you that a lot of fat girls are already mean girls. They either take their insecurities out on skinny girls who had nothing to do with some other mean girls, or they convince themselves that they were gonna be bullied. They tend to watch too much tv, so they assume that random skinny girls are gonna be mean and they're gonna be the victims no matter what. And of course, jealousy is a very real thing. So if you're not gonna take care of yourself inside and out, you can just end up childish and mean.
