She stormed into my elevator at The Grove once (2014 or so). Immediately shielded up and made it clear that she wasn’t to be spoken to. Very unpleasant aura around her. Just that brief moment of being in her air leads me to completely believe all the stories against her.

alexlp 3 days ago +324
Oh man this happened when I got stuck in the elevator with the CEO of the company I used to work for, she’s a fairly minor celebrity. I got into the lift with her and she immediately shielded. I had to say “excuse me mam” like 4 times before she tried to shoo me away, then I had to say “you’re in front of the buttons.” Nearly ended up in her office with her!

rsae_majoris 3 days ago +113
What does shielded mean in this context? Like tensed up?
113
alexlp 3 days ago +184
She turned her back to me and huddled into the corner of the lift, holding her phone really close to her face. Like she was hiding from someone about to rob her or something. Right into the damn panel and she was going to a restricted level so I needed to get out first. When I finally got her to move she sort of fled to back corner and huddled in again. Edit: Oh I forgot a part! They replaced all the elevators with ones without buttons inside the lift, you pick from the outside before you get in. I always considered that my influence.

I’m also wondering, my guess was maybe putting a hand up in front of you in a “don’t talk to me” sign?
20
alexlp 3 days ago +23
That would require acknowledging other people! No, she tucked herself into a corner and pretended she was very busy on her phone, which she held on to like her life depended on it.
23
Doom_Corp 3 days ago +3
That's the kind of shit I do if I think someone is following me and going to attack me while keeping a low key eye on them. It's also kind of why I haven't exactly given up smoking because someone literally followed me to my door after my bar shift at like 4am and it was a reasonable excuse to tell them to let their friend buzz them in (no friend, he left after a hot minute staring at me while his hands were firmly in his pockets...quite young guy, might have been a gang initiation thing to beat up the tall white chick that had moved into neighborhood 5 years ago). I can also put said cigarette out on their face. Doing this in an elevator at what I'm assuming is normal ass hours with frequent... regular human traffic is just silly.
3
alexlp 3 days ago +12
Yeah, I am a petite woman who has had her fair share of scary moments, but I was just jumping on the elevator to the lobby of the shared office building. She has a reputation for being "prickly".

dm_me_pasta_pics 3 days ago +14
in my head canon it means they equip their full size tower shield from their inventory and posture it towards OP.
14
Quick_Team 3 days ago +2
But wouldnt she just have used her action to push the button on the elevator? Or is the shield equip the action and button push is bonus action?
2
swarleyknope 3 days ago +3
I’m imagining her wearing the same dress as in the photo - she’s clearly in “shielded mode” and when she’s not, the collar flips down.

Years ago I was doing background on some big Hollywood movie and the lamp next to one of the minor actors started smoking as it was about to catch fire I tried to get the actors attention multiple times from next to them Excuse me, the lamp is on fire. Excuse me you’re going to get caught on fire. Excuse me your jacket is smoking now Eventually I had to grab a PA and pointed the lamp and they grabbed the actor and move them away quickly and got someone to deal with the lamp (like a prop lamp not a light) After that I started purposely trying to f*** with the actors by waiting until an actor was just close enough to hear what I was saying to someone else and making it extremely weird or vulgar to see whether or not they listen Hugh Laurie completely tripped while trying to not hear me say “ reverse cowgirl”

I had the opposite experience with Sam Smith. I was in Ireland for work heard some one yell hold the elevator. It was him with his maybe body guards? Regardless the dude started tapping a beat was singing and then said thanks for holding the elevator when his floor came up. Dude was such a ball of energy and seemed like. Nothing could ruin his day. Made me smile the rest of the day.

I know some people that worked with her wayyyyy back in her early career. Around the time she was on The Wedge if any Aussies remember that show lol. From what I’ve been told she could be somewhat difficult at times but nothing major stood out. She also wasn’t very famous back then so that could be a factor too.

With the weight loss likely came the energy needed to do the things she truly wanted to pursue. Smearing people and trying to ruin careers in order to advance her own.

I’m pretty sure he did it, but there is more context. She was bragging about putting a finger in Tom Hardy’s ass without permission thinking it was just her being so funny. So Cohen told her to put her finger in his ass, which deeply offended her. I assume it was just pointing out the double standard of it being funny when she sexually assaults someone.

You should look up the Richard Harris Rolls Royce story. Iirc he received a Rolls Royce as a payment. He then parked it and went on a heavy bender. Forgot about the car. Flash forward ~25 years and Harris sees himself in a picture with the car and having no memory with it. He called both his ex-wives and they didn't have a clue. He finally called his accountant and he said something to the effect of. "Of course you have a Rolls Royce. You've been paying storage fees on it." Came out to he had paid~$100,000 to store it and never knew.

Her only mildly good role was fat amy from Pitch Perfect and that cast did a ton to pull her up. I never understood how she got roles in anything outside of commercials.
302
brianlefebvrejr 4 days ago +203
There’s a reason she hasn’t been in anything where she wasn’t essentially a character actor or “comic relief”. How many roles did she have where she wasn’t self aware she was fat and weird? Edit: before anyone complains about me calling her fat, her characters name was literally Fat Amy in pitch perfect

Because we went through an age of "comedy" that was just people saying lewd shit with a straight face. That's it. She was able to say lewd shit, while being fat an ugly with a straight face. > The alleged smear campaign included the site, amandaghostsucks.com, which — in an apparent reference to MacInnes — alleged that an actress had been rewarded for “remaining silent about the abuse she suffered at Ghost’s hands.” Sue Chrysanthou, MacInnes’ barrister, described it as a “malignant allegation” that is denied by her client. The website from the alleged smear campaign is down now but I did find it on the internet archive. https://web.archive.org/web/20241101202551/https://amandaghostsucks.com/

Ya it is, the website is claiming to be wrote by an anonymous whistleblower while it provides no real evidence of their accusations. Usually whistleblowers go to the media and/or law enforcement, not create websites like this one. And calling someone “the Indian Ghislaine Maxwell” while providing no evidence of human trafficking is just absolutely ridiculous. That’s not what whistleblowers do.

What I find odd is that even if MacInnes was abused and Rebel isn’t making that part up… pressuring a victim to go public when they don’t feel comfortable doing so is an extraordinarily shitty thing to do regardless. In what world would that ever make Rebel look good?

"Wilson is being sued for defamation by The Deb actress Charlotte MacInnes over Instagram posts in which the Pitch Perfect star alleged that MacInnes complained about Ghost after they shared a bath together in 2023." Previously unsaid sentences in human history.

Anonnymoose73 3 days ago +17

17
Penguin-clubber 3 days ago +4
It sounded like there was no definitive proof that Rebel authored the smear website, so the case is more about her claiming on Instagram that MacInnes complained about being uncomfortable sharing a hot bath with Ghost, who encouraged her to after she developed a case of hives from the cold. MacInnes said she never complained about it, whereas Rebel said she’s only denying having been uncomfortable because Ghost offered her a career opportunity afterward.

On the upside, likely won't see her in films ever again.  Yay

It's amazing seeing all the evidence provided ...almost like smear campaigns have a trail.

Shes not even a good actress. Her whole thing was the 'fat funny one'. She got skinny and started hating everything. F****** b**** you make loads of cash doing nothing. Stop complaining.

Remember when she dressed up as cop at the VMAS for a Black Lives Matter joke in 2015? Pepperidge farm remembers.

I do not understand why Rebel Wilson cared about this? Was she mad at both of them?

Positive-Drawing-281 3 days ago +8
Mad at the producer for not giving her a full writing credit as was promised and cutting the budget.

Told this story before, but Bill Nye the Science guy sat next to from Atlanta to Philly and right when he sat down and we made I contact he said “yes I am, and no I don’t want to talk”. Then stared at me for 10 seconds as I was trying to figure out who he was. I had never even uttered a word. So I got on my laptop and typed into Google “why is Bill Nye such a t***.” Left it open so he could see, and went to sleep with it open.

Formerly fat people are the absolute worst. They get way too full of themselves

My only question is, was she always awful or was it a side effect of her weight loss?

From what I’ve been told by a friend who worked with her, even before pitch perfect, she’s always been horrid.

This the same PR team that was conspiring to call the producer a ghislane Maxwell

She’s friends with someone very close to me; first of all her name is Melanie. Secondly; she’s a rotten human being. It’s a running joke amongst her peers how dreadful she is.

Paul Fenech called her out over a decade ago, she's a real piece of work.

She seems to be a delusional, self-obsessed, narcissistic pathological liar. And mean. Nasty.

This woman's career is over with. So, can we please stop posting articles relating to her . No one cares. You know what? F*** that, no one cared about her anyhow. I have never in my life said, "Oh Rebel Wilson is in this flick, let's watch it".

Wasn’t she an a****** in Bridesmaids? I haven’t liked her since.

I’m honestly gone with her and her antics as of late. I hope I’m not the only one. She’s disgusting with taking allegedly lying about smearing for p*do c***. People who do this discredit actual incidents and I’ve heard no apology from her about it.
