"Today, we commit to stopping decades of violence and bloodshed and to begin a new era of harmony".
"everybody's going to make a lot of money".
-Donald Trump, Dec 2025
>The conflict, which has raged on despite a truce brokered by the United States and Qatar, has sparked a huge humanitarian crisis, with at least 7 million people displaced.

I'm implying Donald Trump couldn't negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag with a bazooka and the promise of a Big Mac on the other side. I'm implying Donald Trump has a much follow though as a deadbeat dad. I'm implying Donald Trump is committed to peace the same way a stripper is committed to talking to you once the song ends.
He fired dozens of ambassadors and eliminated USAID, among other unchristian things. He 'negotiated a truce' for likes and clicks, nothing more. He's not interested in actual peace or actually ending human suffering. He's not responsible for holding prisoners in crates. He's responsible for [much](https://hsph.harvard.edu/news/usaid-shutdown-has-led-to-hundreds-of-thousands-of-deaths/), [much](https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/nov/19/trump-emissions-policy-could-cause-climate-deaths) worse.

"Send me to the Congo I'm free to leave
There's always somewhere anybody can lead
Send me to the Congo, you have to believe
You can do it if you want to just do what you please" -- Genesis
