A national security threat. And thanks to SCOTUS, the next President will enjoy default legal immunity while addressing that threat.

F****** incredible. The “Biden Crime Family” not only allowed Hunter Biden to be prosecuted, but criminally convicted. And what was it for, making a false submission on a firearms application or some shit? As if Republicans wanted firearms carefully registered?
Meanwhile, a Trump crime is invading Iran, and then forming a drone partnership with your f****** golf course corporation to make money off it…in reverse order.

Biden allowed a special prosecutor to investigate both his son and himself. He also allowed a special prosecutor who Trump had appointed to continue wasting money investigating the Mueller investigation.
He could have not done any of that.
Republicans on the other hand elect a guy who is a lifelong criminal and just look the other way.

It is easy in hindsight to judge what Biden did and did not do when he had the chance. I think he was looking to heal. The stop the steal should have been the indication that the country needed some scorched earth before the healing could begin.....Arresting and putting in prison a former President seemed like a bad idea in 2021....hindsight says American justice and political accountability would be in a better place right now had Biden chose the harder path.

It was never a bad idea. The country "apologized" after Nixon and it pretty much set us on this path. Nixon should've been fully prosecuted, not forgiven. It's *always* a good idea to prosecute *anyone* who breaks laws. It's really that simple. Because that's really the whole point, that no matter who you are, we're supposed to be beholden to the same rules. And punished the same way. This classism c*** we keep just allowing is part of why everything is out of control.

To very foolish people with little understanding of history or politics maybe. Unfortunately a lot of those people were in charge at the time.

Right. Almost every major problem in America today can be traced back to not punishing powerful people for the crimes they were guilty of.

The country where no one is above the law sure does let a lot of people step over it
1

that's the problem
"they go low and we go cry" is not a strategy
this country doesn't need healing. we are in two fundamentally differencing moralities, ideals etc...it needs accountability and retribution.
the fact that white identity politics is so extreme that the right held holding a traitorous pedophile to account as an attack on THEIR rights....this country doesn't deserve to survive. it really doesn't. there is no way of returning to pre-Trump. but the punishments need to be historic

Several prosecutors said it was completely abnormal to chase that kind of firearms charge in such circumstances too.

The false submission was lying on the drug use question on a firearm application. Most pro 2a Republicans believe the question is bullshit, and likely many violate it themselves. It was by all accounts an actual nothing burger.

And the charge is very rarely brought against anyone
1
passengerpigeon20Mar 26, 2026

When it is, it's an add-on charge when a gun owner gets caught doing something else illegal. Cops don't go running drug spot-checks on otherwise law-abiding gun owners, so seeing someone taken to court for only that offence should set alarm bells ringing for trumped-up charges.

Don Jr is also on the board of Polymarket and making a killing.
The entire Trump family is profiting immensely off of his presidency, to the tune of BILLIONS.
Not a f****** PEEP from MAGA after Republicans led bogus, partisan inquiries into the so-called "BiDeN cRiMe fAmIly" for the entirety of Biden's term.
Their allegations would be actually credible if levied against the Trump family. Hunter Biden's cash flow was insignificant compared to the kind of corrupt money that the Trump's are taking in.
Meanwhile, the debt and deficit are exploding, the US is INSOLVENT, Americans are struggling more than ever but for the richest investors who are wagering suspiciously on government action and oil prices just before one of Trump's rambling screeds on social media...
The narrative that Trump has charitably sacrificed his net worth for the sake of running the country is a load of bullshit.
Lets start with Qatar "gifting" Trump a luxury plane valued at $200-400 million—now $1B in taxpayer funds to renovate. For perspective, the value of the plane totals more than the cost of all foreign gifts bestowed on every former president *combined.*
Qatar has been cashing in on this "bribe," receiving in return explicit US security guarantees, economic and defense deals, and US approval for a Qatari military training facility in Idaho.
Foreign investors in Trump's cryptocurrency have been stocking up on his meme coin, stating explicitly that they plan to use their investment to literally purchase influence with Trump.
The Trump family has normalized moneymaking schemes that would end the career of anyone else in Trump's position.
The Trumps and their associates have amassed hundreds of millions in trading fees from their $TRUMP cryptocurrency scheme.
Thousands of investors lost nearly $2 billion after the coin's value crashed, but the Trump family brought in significant financial gains.
This is one of many of Trump's conflicts of interest. As president, he's been pushing crypto-friendly policies that directly benefit the Trump family, their political connections and investors.
They've also used the presidency to open an exclusive club in Washington called "The Executive Branch." The price to join the club was originally $500,000 per person.
Trump continues to host exclusive dinners for investors in his cryptocurrency.
Access to these events are based on how much money investors contributed towards businesses that Trump benefits from financially.
Despite Truth Social's wild overvaluation and revenue losses, Trump Media refiled to register Trump's shares for sale worth around $2 billion. The filing also registered shares for sale held by Trump allies like Pam Bondi.
The Trump family and affiliates were set to receive 75% of the net protocol revenues from the World Liberty Financial project, the "decentralized finance platform" which the Trump family took control of back in January; what convenient timing! The paper value of their holdings in the WLFI token was in the billions. And now we know that nearly half of it was sold to an Abhu Dhabi royal.
This move raises massive ethical and legal red flags; yet another example of the Trump family's enrichment schemes.
They also launched at least three additional meme coins directly associated with their brand.
Even foreign governments and nefarious foreign parties are investing in Trump family meme coin and digital currency like the WLFI token, often seeking support for their geopolitical and economic ambitions in return.
Trump also continues to make money from his private business interests run by his sons who are profiting directly off of his presidency.
The Trump family has frequently used the influence and power of the president to pursue real estate projects overseas and make deals worth billions with foreign governments, monarchs and petro-fascists. His family also benefitted financially from trademarks from the Chinese government.
More recently, Trump has also been intimidating American companies and CEOs, like a Mafia Don(ald), into giving the government a financial stake in their businesses and political leverage over them and how they run their companies.
During his first term, Trump was forced to pay more than $2 million in court-ordered damages to eight different charities for illegally misusing charitable funds at the Trump Foundation for political purposes
As part of the settlement, Trump and his children were required to acknowledge their personal misuse of funds at the Trump Foundation and it was forced to shut its doors and dissolve under court supervision.
Then there's Trump University:
In 2013, A lawsuit was filed by New York's AG accusing Trump of defrauding thousands of people who attended Trump University. New York regulators forced Trump to stop using the term "university" to describe the scheme, calling Trump's use of the word, "misleading and even illegal."
Former students recount being pressured to provide high approval ratings for the courses they were taking, or have their graduation certificates withheld. Thousands of students sought course refunds and claimed that they never received any benefits from the courses.
There was also a separate class action lawsuit against Trump University. Trump's counterclaims were dismissed and he even tried to file a defamation suit against one of the students who made her experiences at the "university" public. Trump was eventually found to have defrauded students and was forced to pay $25 million in restitution.
And remember that prior to his inauguration, Trump met in private with several billionaires who pledged millions of dollars towards his presidency, evidently in exchange for laxity, and were invited to sit in the VIP section at his inauguration while his supporters stood out in the cold. How symbolic.

Wait wait wait.... What about Hunter Biden's laptop?
I mean FFS. Can these inept morons just take their tongues out of Donald's shit filled ass crack for five damn minutes to see the corruption going on? Is Bobo busy giving out handjobs too? Is that why she's there?
F***. And then if there even IS some blue wave coming later this year (and that's a big IF), are we getting any ACTUAL justice for these crimes? Is anyone gonna be seeing a courtroom that couldn't just buy off the judge and jury?
Just the seething amount of absolute furious f****** anger at not just Republicans for being a party of sycophants to a adled brained numbnuts. But also at Democrats for not having hardly a spine against them. And when they did showcase some intestinal fortitude, it lasted only until a pinkie promise was made and - duh! - MAGA flipped and took a f****** mile on that inch.

Rules for thee not for me bull going on right there. They, the GOP set the precedent that they're willing to go after kids but when it's their kids? *"Oh, he doesn't know any better he's only 40"*.
If they think the way they treat others, if they believe that pendulum will not swing, if the GOP thinks they are immune to their own nonsense, well the least I can say is history suggests otherwise.
