This...very much this. I don't get people acting concerned about this. This is literally who Republicans are. It isn't a "young Republicans" problem, it's an "all Republicans" problem.

>It’s easy to see Fuentes’ growing influence in the comment section of his Rumble videos, which consistently gain 200k views. Some of his followers, known as “groypers,” share their own racist or sexist views. >“Women and Jews need to Shut the F*** Up.” >“The brownification of America is disgusting and tragic.” >“Jews aren't that smart, they're just incredibly coordinated.” Where were these peoples parents while they were forming such despicable theories?

Their parents are likely equally hateful conservatives.

Maybe. I think most of the people leading the “manosphere” are psychopathic grifters who have no problem preying on vulnerable and impressionable children to make a buck. If there’s one thing I’ve seen with the followers of this scam is they’re deeply insecure and they’ve latched onto hyper masculine role models who often openly have slurs and racist ideas wrapped up in their routines. The fact that the GOP co-opted this awful trend and that there’s been talk of foreign influence campaigns swirling in the soup makes it even worse. At the end of the day, I think a lot of these young republicans and “manosphere” followers always had some right wing tendencies, but social media got its hooks into the children in the formative years and has deeply damaged these kids. It’s hard for them to see where the influence campaign stops and real life begins.

On the contrary, Jews are just as likely to trip over things as non-Jews.

emotionally-neglecting the kids they threw phones and tablets at a decade ago.

Older conservatives have the same views, they just don't like the openness about it the younger ones have.

Just watch one of the young white male Christian Nationalist on IG. It goes the same way: Pro-Jesus quote to get in heaven followed by a mysoginistic anti trans anti immigrant video.

Republicans have been bigots my entire life. Hell, a lot of Democrats I meet have it in them as well. They just polish it real nice and are clever enough to use smoke and mirrors (still transparent). This is nothing new. What is new is that this is a generation that has, seemingly, not ever felt real consequence. They've never been slapped by a stranger in the super market because they were being an a******. While I don't condone the way I was raised, I do think that we have gone a bit too far away from teaching accountability as if it was a GOOD thing. They genuinely think they can just troll and rage bait their way through life without consequence. The consequence will come.

I genuinely have some hope that this is the death bloom of the far right movement.

Last time I posted quotes from an article like this I got a ban because it's *that* bad.

Its a feature, not a problem. The only reason they might even slightly care is because they aren’t sure yet whether the general public would care. As soon as they realize no one gives a damn about people believing and enabling white supremacy and racism, outright bigotry will be the status quo. It already is anyway behind closed doors. I’m glad I got to experience the brief enlightened America before all these neckbearded, mouth breathing, cousin f******, shit beer drinking, pathetic, hegseth-adjacent megalomaniacal psychopaths took control of the country I loved and killed it.

You know Hitler was the guy that killed Hitler right? Do I really need to explain the joke?

I didn’t read the article, but it’s an alarming headline…

Whether he was "worst ever" or not is kind of specious. I'd be willing to debate academically Pol Pot was even worse, but at that stage you've passed an event horizon of badness anyway

duncan-the-wonderdog Mar 27, 2026 +3
As a history nerd who likes studying dictatorships, I get so tired of hearing about Hitler. The fact that American bigots love to d***-ride him so much is how I know they're not serious people, not even about authoritarianism.
3
epochellipse Mar 27, 2026 +2
I don’t think it’s Pol Pot that they think is worse.

They used to be sly about it. A Republican politician could talk about cracking down on urban crime and still get some black votes. They would talk about cracking down on illegal immigration and still get Latino votes. These are legitimate issues that were used as dog whistles to excuse racist policies. These were racists who had to learn to navigate public relations during the civil rights movement. The tic-tok conservatives drawn in by liberal fail videos are proud trolls and just call black people monkeys, and tell Native Americans to “go back to your country.” They’ve been trained by their social media algorithms to act in a way that is actually totally unacceptable to anyone with a brain and it will not work out well.

The only thing they are “struggling” with is how to win them over and bring them into the GOP!
1
AmphibianMammoth Mar 27, 2026 +1
They are no longer conservatives they are fascists seeking a whole new revolutionary order that destroys the constitution. I fear they will win in the long run too much money and passion and power on their side. The opposition is weak and apathetic and has been dominated for decades by the right

Wave_File Mar 27, 2026 +1
I mean they made the right a welcoming place for them, now they wanna be all shocked? you literally and figuratively raised these kids.

If the Nazis want to Nazi, they should form their own political party and run candidates. They should have the representation in Washington that they deserve. Hiding behind the GOP just illustrates how illegitimate they are.
