The man is spineless and it actually runs in his blood. A blood thirsty narcissist who thinks he owns the world

Trump's messaging is alllll over the place, some hints that he's just going to [cut and run](https://www.vpm.org/npr-news/npr-news/2026-03-31/trump-hints-at-an-end-to-military-action-in-iran-saying-u-s-will-leave-in-2-3-weeks) and leave reopening the straight up to everyone else, and other hints that he's heading for a ground troop escalation asap. Per usual it seems like one or the other is a head fake to maximize his insider trading profiteering. Which one is it though?

Given the amount of troops moving into the area still I'll give you a wild f****** guess

What amount of troops... they're going to have 50000 or so troops spread out throughout the middle east. That's no where near enough to open the Strait without Iran's

Donald Trump's favorite war tactic is to build up military assets in an area, claim he is not going to do anything, and then strike.
He seems to think he is playing some 4D chess and tricking enemies by doing the opposite of what he says.

And because Trump and his cronies won't shut up about it, Iran will be able to plan a better and stronger defense.

Wouldn't setting up an agreement where inspectors could come in and inspect the facilities to make sure that the signed and agreed-upon agreement was being adhered-to be sort-of 'better' than this?

If I recall Iran sent thousands of it's solders charging at Iraq fortified positions to break a stalemate and over took them. If our soldiers get rushed like that they will be done for. They know we are coming and where they put the uranium. Our troops land and Iran just rains downs drones and missiles on them or booby trap the place. This all sounds like such a bad idea with a complete idiot willing to go through with it.

I just wonder, it can’t be easy to be a soldier under the Trump administration. Everything is so fucked up.

I doubt they care.. American GI just want to shoot. I vividly remember the stories from Iraq and Afghanistan.

When you are a soldier you are fighting for your country right, but just knowing that Trump is sending some commandos into a very risky mission and the orders are from Trump.

No. Because in Iraq and Afghanistan they were also just being send for bullshit. Its been a damn long time since any US soldier fought for their country.

"In a phone interview with Reuters, President Trump said he doesn’t “care about” the enriched nuclear material in Iran, insisting the U.S. can monitor the situation from a distance."
That was a quick reversal.
